| My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in NYC and this was my surprise tour for my husband. We both loved everything about the tour. It was far more encompassing and informative than we anticipated. Tony is great and so committed to the facts and folklore of old and new Brooklyn. He keeps it light and his DVD clips are a perfect accompanyment. Last but not least the pizza....We loved Grimaldi's thin crust, fresh Mozzarella and unsweetened sauce. It was just like we had in the Chianti region of Tuscany. L and B was good but the sauce is very sweet however many of the others on the tour preferred that sauce. Thanks Tony and everyone on the tour who made the day fun. |

| This really was a good time and I would highly recommend.
Tony our guide was VERY knowledable and kept things interesting. Trust me though- go hungry. Even though we only stopped at two pizza places it was plenty of food. Especially when you get to the Sicilian deep dish style. Which was crazy good by the way! |

| My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour. It was very well planned and orchestrated, a perfect amount of time for each stop and activity, and we saw and learned so much about the borough. Tony is a great guide, so well cast for his role!!! Don't ever let this grow so large that he doesn't do the trip personally - all his expertise and info and charisma were what made it happen. And of course, the pizza was wonderful and a taste experience we loved. The driver was competent, the bus was comfortable, and the size of the group was ideal.
We look forward without hesitation to doing another one of these trips when the new itineraries are available |

| I can't count how many people I have already recommened this tour to. This is an excellent tour for locals or tourists, a couple on a date, a family, or senior citizens, and for anyone who loves pizza and history. I live in New York and I had four elderly relatives coming to visit. Out of all the touristy activities we did, this was the one they talked the most about. The pizza was so delicious, we learned so much about the history of Brooklyn and pizza, and the tour guide was very entertaining. I can't wait to take my friends on this tour. |

| Tony was unavailable for our tour, so we were shown around Brooklyn by his younger cousin. She was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both Brooklyn and pizza.
After a brief stop beneath Brooklyn Bridge, we headed to the first pizza place, Grimaldi's, walking straight past the huge queue. My expectations were high and, ultimately, I was disappointed with the pizza. Yes, it had a nice, thin, crispy base and the sauce and cheese (no toppings... on a $75 tour?) was adequate, but I had better from a place just outside my apartment (Waldy's on 6th Ave, just above 27th St).
We then toured various movie locations, including the Goodfellas garage where Joe Pesci's character got whacked. This was fairly interesting, however the guide did have a propensity for telling us how much the houses cost on just about every street we drove down, which quickly became irritating - there's enough of that on the news, without getting it on holiday too.
The second place for pizza was L&B Spumoni Gardens, which served thick-based Sicilian pizza, with very sweet sauce. I preferred this to Grimaldi's, despite not particularly being a fan of thick pizza. Again though, there were no toppings, and it wasn't the pizza pinnacle I'd been anticipating.
In summary, it was OK but not worth $75. |

| If you'd like to add something new to your New York City vacation, this is a great option. Not only do you see and hear about areas of the City you might not otherwise visit, but the tour of Brooklyn is informative and the views of the City and bridges from that side are awesome! We love pizza, and the two locations we visited had different, and tasty, versions with enough quantity to fill up anyone. In fact, we enjoyed it so much (and Tony was such a good tour guide) that we went on the Brooklyn Christmas lights tour that night and had a wonderful time looking at all the beautiful lights. I can enthusiastically recommend this tour to people of all age groups and sightseeing abilities, as there is not too much walking and the sighseeing coach is very comfortable. |

| WOW!!! What a FUN way to get acquainted with a borough that we previosly knew nothing about! I have been travelling to NYC for over 20 years and had not seen Coney Island, and I finally feel like I truly KNOW New York now!
Oh, and the pizza???? AWESOME!!!! Tony has definitely picked out the best two pizza places, and they were both DELISH!
Tony himself has truly found his calling...he is an AWESOME tour guide, totally a pleasure to listen to and a genuinely NICE guy! We can't wait for the Wise Guys tour! Whatcha gonna feed us on THAT one??? ;-)
Thanks for a TERRIFIC addition to a great NYC trip!!! I LOVE that I now know a little about Brooklyn, and I look forward to visiting there again!
