Great Tour - Even for a Local
Sat, May 17, 08   11:00 AM blebl12 Male 20-29 Local Group of Friends
The tour was great. Tony was wonderful. He knew so much about the history of Brooklyn and the pop culture and local trends and issues. And his knowledge of pizza is amazing too. Grimaldi's and Spumoni Gardens are incredible. This tour is a great way to spend an afternoon, especially for a Manhattanite who knew nothing about Brooklyn.

We want to move to Brooklyn!
Sat, May 17, 08   11:00 AM nannucci Male 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
Everything about the tour was perfect (including the weather). Tony has an indescribable way of guiding you through the historic neighborhoods of Brooklyn. Although the pizza is the best you have ever tasted, it takes a back seat to Tony’s wonderful personality and knowledge of the area. Go hungry and with a camera, you won't be disappointed! Thanks again Tony, we look forward to Christmas Lights Tour this winter!

What a Way to See Brooklyn
Fri, May 16, 08   11:00 AM JeffEagle Male 30-39 International Tourist(s) Group of Friends
This was simply awesome. The choice of pizza was fantastic and the sights were outstanding. To have such a wide range of historical and pop culture locations to soak up was, I feel, unique. And our guide was perfect, from his knowledge to his sense of humour and even his choice of words and the way he spoke. It truly brought it alive for someone who had only seen this part of the world on TV and in the movies. Highly Recommended!

Thoroughly enjoyable!

My husband and I took the tour and really enjoyed. Tony (our tour guide) was a real professional, very knowledge about Brooklyn and added many personal details about what it was like growing up in Brooklyn. The points of interest were exactly what we wanted to see with the added feature of showing movie clips on the tour bus, The pizza stops were great with more than enough to taste. We have already recommended this to several friends and will continue to do so. Carol Buffalo, New York

Myself and my husband have done this tour twice before and enjoyed it so much we did it a third time. The tour is fun, interesting and a great way to try two amazing pizzerias. Tony, the tour guide, is a proud Brooklynite who shares a wealth of information about Brooklyn and it's pizza! We would highly recommend the tour and I'm sure we'll do it again ourselves on our next trip to New York.

MY SECOND TRIP AND LOVED IT AGAIN
Fri, May 16, 08   11:00 AM donnademarta Female 60-69 Local Group of Friends
I took a group of friends for my second trip. We grew up in Little Italy, Bronx but they loved it and thanked me for "planning something different". Despite the rainy weather, Tony's enthusiasm and wonderful personality, made the trip fun and enjoyable. I have to ask him on my (next) trip, what he takes for being so upbeat and funny!! :-) I still like both pizzas, but my friends liked the Sicilian pizza best. I would actually take this tour a third time because I love Brooklyn and cannot discover enough of it. If you want something different, interesting, fun and delicious, you will find it in this tour! Tony, when you have your overall tour of Brooklyn ready, please let me know.

Delicious, Friendly, Fun and Entertaining!

The tour delivered just what it had promised. The day was a bit rainy, but we were still able to enjoy the sights and "flavors" of Brooklyn. Tony was infomative, kind and an energetic host. He shared many strories and details and experiences from a "locals" point of view which brought a more personal touch to this very special tour. It is obvious he loves "his town" and enjoyed growing up and living in Brooklyn. And It is very obvious that he enjoys "sharing" his life stories with people coming to New York. Overall, it was a pleaseantly paced and relaxing tour. The tour bus was very comfortable and clean. The only (slight) downside, was that the passenger windows do not have a defroster, and although Tony provided paper towels to help with the wiping down the moisture on the windows, it was difficult at times to see out of the windows (when it was raining outside). Fortunately, it was at the beginning of the tour, (when leaving Mantatten), so we didn't miss too much. And when the rain subsided, he was able to turn down the heat in the bus, and this helped too. The PIzza was GREAT....And his hospitality was SUPERB!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits the city. You can tell this not a job to him....but his PASSION!

You will definately enjoy touring with Tony and hearing all about one of the great Borrows of New York, Brooklyn. I learned so much about Brooklyn I had never known before and I am now spoiled on pizza for life. The pizza at Gremoldi's and L&B Spumoni is to die for. You will never want to eat any other- Tony, Can we suggest mail order?!!!! Don't miss this tour, it is a highlight for any trip to New York.

First of all I can't say enough about Tony.. He welcomes you with the greatest smile, not so bad on the eyes either, he is passionate about Brooklyn and know his stuff. The tour bus is clean with great comfortable seats, Tony is concerned about the comfort of tour group and flexible in adjusting temperature on bus to keep group happy and comfortable. The sites visited on the tour are great, and Tony provides great insight and history on neighborhoods along with time for Great photo ops. Best view of Brooklyn bridge I ever seen!! and the houses of BayRidge along Shore Pkwy WOW And last but not least THE PIZZA !!! THE BEST EVER, What a host Tony becomes as he makes sure everyone is comfortable and MANGAS down at Grimaldis and L & B Spumoni Gardens. You can't beat the value you get for the price of the tour, 4.5 hours of the best sites of Brooklyn, The best pizza, good Brooklyn history, a comfortable environment and the best tour guide EVER!!!
