| Tony was a great guide and is unlike any other tour guide you've ever met! He is enthusiastic but not over the top (like many tour guides) and makes the tour very run and relaxing....The tour becomes a full brooklyn tour vs. just pizza, although the pizza is also very good.
I highly recommend his tour! |

The pizza restaurants represented different pizza cuisines and were both outstanding. Our tour guide explained much about Brooklyn and New York in general. She made the tour most interesting by adding personal anecdotes that brought great realism to all she was saying. The showing of movie clips matching our actual locations was quite entertaining. The musical background also added to our entertainment. In general, I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about real life New York/Brooklyn.

We recently booked a trip with Tony for the Brooklyn Pizza tour. He was a great guide and the bus was very comfortable and well airconditioned. It was a well done tour. We kept moving at a nice pace, so we didn't get bored. The pizza places we went to were delicious and the spumoni was the best we every tasted. It was very interesting and I would recommend it to all.

Fun experience which gave a good overview of Brooklyn. The pizza tasting was enjoyable and there was a sufficient amount to eat and compare two different styles of Pizza. The guide was friendly and reasonably knowledgeable.

This was a fantastic tour. Our first trip to Brooklyn was a memorable one as out tour guide Paula was very informative and made the tour a lot of fun. She was very knowledgeable about Brooklyn and got the entire group properly psyched up in anticipation of our pizza stops. I would heartily recommend this tour!

Bus was comfortable. Staff was friendly. Had ample servings of pizza. Short film clips was interesting but distracting when looking at the sites. Would have preferred more time between pizza stops.

I have taken part in a number of tours. By far, A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour is one of my favorites. I went for my husband's birthday with friends and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Our tour guide, Tony, combined Brooklyn street smarts with historical facts and movie clips to deliver a tour that is both funny and informative. The tour really inspires you to want to learn all there is to know about Brooklyn. Too boot, L&B Spumoni Gardens serves the best Sicilian slice of pizza I've ever eaten! Thanks for a great time!

None of my children could be with me on Mother's Day. I didn't look forward to the day. A friend recommended this tour and it was perfect. It made the day pass so enjoyably. It was full of interesting tidbits which, although a lifetime New Yorker, were new to me. The pizza respites were delicious plus a nice pause in the tour. The guide was sweet, helpful and knowledgable. She obviously wanted us to enjoy ourselves and made sure we did. I have trouble walking, and the fact that the van was there at the end of every trek made it possible for me to participate in the walks and not have to walk back. Dolores was a great driver - manipulating traffic, never stopping or starting too fast - very smooth ride. It was such a happy thing to do that it was perfect for the day. I'm very interested in the Christmas lights tour. We've already recommended it heartily to all our friends.

This tour was so much more than yummy pizza. It wasn't "touristy" and there was not a dull moment. Tony made it a fun roadtrip and showed us all of the coolest spots in Brooklyn - spots you don't read about in your NYC books. It was also crucial to get VIP entry to Grimaldi's and cut the 1 hr+ line to get in :)

We had a great day on this tour which is more a tour of interesting Brooklyn neighborhoods than a stuff-yourself-with-pizza tour, although the pizza was certainly delicious. Paula was a fun and energetic guide who kept us entertained the whole four hours - her love for and knowledge of her hometown borough was very apparent. As a bonus we walked right by Justin Timberlake filming an SNL skit in DUMBO! I absolutely recommnend the tour for both tourists and Manhattanites who never visit Brooklyn.
