Much more than Pizza!

This tour is SO much more than eating pizza (as good as the pizza stops were! ) With a vry comfortable bus, a creative route, and the owner/tour guide who was born and raised in Brooklyn mywife and I learned all there was to know about Brooklyn: Its history, waves of immigration and how they changed the neighborhoods, people of note:politicians to underworld types to entertainment and sports notables. A creative addition was to screen areas as we drove thru them e.g. driving under the EL at the spot where the chase scene for "French Connection was filmed and showing the scene on dropdown units. The bus get-offs were well planned to walk parks, eat pizza, see Coney Island, etc. Tony couldn't be better mixing in depth history with personal anecdotes and a wonderful sense of humor and a focus on comfort and service. You will really enjoy this tour!

This was more a tour of Brooklyn than just eating pizza that were good, but not exceptional.

All kudos to the tour director. He was knowledgeable, interesting with a fine sense of humor. Right out of central casting. We are from Arizona, and the tour of Brooklyn was wonderful. Surprisingly, the only downside, and this is minimal, was the pizza. And probably pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, and anchovies would have solved that problem.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour. It was very well planned and orchestrated, a perfect amount of time for each stop and activity, and we saw and learned so much about the borough. Tony is a great guide, so well cast for his role!!! Don't ever let this grow so large that he doesn't do the trip personally - all his expertise and info and charisma were what made it happen. And of course, the pizza was wonderful and a taste experience we loved. The driver was competent, the bus was comfortable, and the size of the group was ideal. We look forward without hesitation to doing another one of these trips when the new itineraries are available

Both my wife and I grew up in Brooklyn and are now living in Florida. We took our grand daughter on this trip to introdruce her to Brooklyn. Tony took us to places in Brooklyn we never saw when we were living there. The tour was informative and Tony was excellent in describing and explaining each area we visited. The Pizza was excellent and we would recommend this tour as a must do when you visit NY. Norm & Audrey Bush

Wanted to tour Brooklyn for years. Tony did a great job to make this 'dream' happen. Tony well informed, most considerate, pleasant and fun, even enjoyed meeting his Uncle Louie. Should definitely do the same tour with an overview of Manhattan.

My wife and I took the "A Slice of Brooklyn Puzza tour on Wednesday, October 26, 2005. Normally, the times for the tour were only on Monday and Friday. However, Tony made a special effort to accomodate us on a mid-week activity. What a pleasure it was to meet Tony and to see all the wonderful sites and information that was provided by a very knowledgeable and proud Brooklyn native. The Tour provided not only a geographical area of Brooklyn, but also, it's history and the people who have made many contributions to our Country. I highly recommend that anyone interested in learning more about the people and culture of a Great City, not to miss the chance to do so. Also, the Pizza is GREAT. A five star activity not to be missed. Gary and Jane Fisher Fresno, Ca
