| We saw the tour on TV at home in Australia and knew straight away that we were going to do it on our upcoming trip to the US.
We met with Tony on a Saturday around 11am, straight away he was friendly and felt like a pal. We all jumped on the air conditioned bus (needed as it was getting quite hot) and headed for Brooklyn.
Tony makes everyone feel comfortable, asking us all questions about where we're from and cracking jokes like there's no tomorrow. He gave us a run down of the areas we were visiting, culture, history, you name it, there's even a TV with scenes from movies that were filmed in Brooklyn.
Tony was informative and it was fun, a lot of fun. You can feel the pride & passion that he has for his hometown and it actually makes you want to pack up and move to Brooklyn!
One thing that must be mentioned about the tour......... the PIZZA!!!
Grimaldi's is a fantastic place (great soda from there too), if anyone asks why you're jumping the line, just tell them to "fuggedaboutit".
Spumoni Gardens takes pizza to a whole new level. I love my pizza with plenty of sauce and Spumoni does not disappoint. Sauce, cheese in the dough, great service, I wish I could experience this back home every day. The BEST pizza you'll ever eat!
You will actually get quite full and lucky to say I was able to get some extra servings.
I would recommend that if you're remotely close to New York, you MUST go on this tour. No questions, no excuses, just go, you'll be blown away. |

| The tour is much much more than slices of pizza. I have been on and enjoyed several of the Zerve New York tours and this was by far the best. From up under the Brooklyn Bridge, through the many diverse Brooklyn neighborhoods, and browsing around Coney Island - everything was entertaining, educational, and just so much fun. And also the different types of pizza were great. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting New York. The main difference between this tour and others was the super tour guide - Tony- who has a real passion for Brooklyn and pizza. This is one of the few tours I didn't want to end. |

| Great tour. Tony is a great host and guide. 4 1/2 hours is a long time but worth it . Two tips: 1. make sure you are not tired when it starts 2. you won't need dinner resrvations for that evening - a light snack will do. |

| This was one of the best organized and entertaining tours we have been on, ever. The bus was waiting for us at the appointed time and location. The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the districts we visited and interspersed personal anecdotes with facts about the districts we visited which made the tour all the more interesting. The movie clips shown on the bus' video screens added to significance of the districts we visited. The tour absolutely highlighted the best side of Brooklyn
The Pizzas were delicious and the time (4.5 hours) went by quickly and very enjoyably.
There was a nice mix or driving/touring, walking and eating. |

| A great tour despite the weather! Our tour guide Paula was the perfect host, informative, entertaining and always on hand to answer any questions we had.
Pizzas of course were awesome, especially Grimaldi's. Enjoyed the video clips giving a backdrop to where we headed through.
Highly recommended to all who love pizza and who like me wish to see Brooklyn in all its glory! |

| If you're a New Yorker, the pizza which is good, will not impress you. But if you're Italian-American or wish you were, this is the tour for you! |

| This was a terrific tour in a comfortable bus, packed full of facts and information on famous locations in Brooklyn. I particularly enjoyed the TV's that showed clips from movies that were filmed in Brooklyn shown as we were actually passing those spots.
The two pizza stops were excellent and we were treated very nicley by those two famous establishmnets.
Our guide was full of enthusiasm and fun to be with which added to the overall pleasurable experience. It was also fun to be able to get out at the two stops (Coney Island and Empire Park under the Brooklyn Bridge.)
If you have friends or family visiting from out of town I would heartily recommend this tour or even if you do as we did and get a group of friends together and go have a blast!!
One slight negative, I wish they would change the "jazz" tape that was played on the way back to Manhattan (while they were showing famous Brooklynites) to music that would be more connected with Brooklyn/New York.
I would definately take this tour again and are considering some of the others that are offered. |
