WOW!

We were a little hesitant to sign on for such a long tour, but it was worth every single minute! Never having been to Brooklyn, this was as good and varied an introduction as I could have imagined. All of this is due to the owner of the tour company, Tony. From the first moment he was friendly, enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable, and of course, was speaking from first-hand experience. I particluarly loved the scope of the tour. While the pizza was great (at both places!) the history, culture, the short walks underneath the Manhatten bridge as well as at Coney Island, and the drive through remarkably diverse neighborhoods, added up to a wonderful overview to Brooklyn, and definitely left us with the desire to return. Tony definitely has found his calling!!

Really enjoyed myself on this tour, which was filled with unexpected things like a visit to the boardwalk at Coney Island as well as other film sites. The pizza was fantastic - now I know where to go next time. Tony is great - one can see he really loves what he is doing ! Highly recommended - you won't regret taking this very enjoyable tour of Brooklyn. There's definitely more to NY than Manhattan !

Would recommend this tour to anyone - Tony is so friendly and really knows his stuff. The pizza was amazing, and the DVD clips of the different films set in Brooklyn were really interesting. I think anyone would enjoy this tour (except those freaks who don't like pizza....). Would give it 10/10!

As an ex Brooklynite I've been telling my NJ friends & neighbors what a great place I grew up in. One of my girl friends in particular has been bugging me to take her on a tour of my old neighborhood for years. When i heard about this tour I knew it would be the perfect birthday present/surprise for my friend. It exceeded my expectations. Tony is a fabulous tour guide. His love & enthusiasm for the burrough is contagious. The pizza was great too. I think my friend not only got a slice or 2 of pizza but really shared a slice of B'klyn life! Thank you Tony!!!! My only criticism is the bus was not handicap accessable & I specifically called to inquire about that. I was given bad info. However my friend was able to manuever the bus' steps. Had she been more severely challenged that would not have been possible and we would have been very disappointed.

We had a blast! We were a group of eight women including four from New York but we enjoyed the trip and learned as much as the four people from England who were also on the trip. Tony is informative, funny, friendly, flexible (there were some technical problems with the DVD and it was a new driver) and incredibly entertaining and has done a masterful job incorporating the film clips with the locale. The trip went long by about 45 minutes but we didn't mind being late as we were too busy laughing, eating wonderful pizza and thoroughly enjoying "the show".

I have been on other tours during our trips to NYC, but this is by far the best. It is well worth the money. The pizza would cost a lot on it's own but it is included in the price. Tony is a wonderful tour guide and really puts his heart into the presentation. I only wish that I could be back in NYC to take his Christmas Lights Tour. Some of the other people on the tour were repeat customers. When we talked to some of the "repeaters" before the tour I was thinking it rather foolish of them to keep coming back. After we had such a good time I could see why. If we get back to NYC I will definitely be a repeat customer myself!

The Pizza Slice of Brooklyn is an absolute "must do" when visiting (or living in) New York. Tony is a gem. He not only is a very warm, friendly person but also his knowledge of Brooklyn (and the pizza) is amazing. We loved the tour (the highlight of our trip and I'm not even a pizza lover!) and have recommended it to the concierge of the Manhattan Club. Pat Lawler Redmond, WA

TONY TERRIFIC

The New York Mets baseball team had pitcher Tom (Seaver) Terrific. The borough of Brooklyn has Tony Terrific. (And his new sexy black bus.) Tony pitched a no-hitter, a perfect tour. Tony and Brooklyn together are a perfect union. My husband and I have lived in Brooklyn all our lives. In fact, we live just a few neighborhoods away from Tony. We were delighted to be introduced, by a master, to parts of Brooklyn we didn't really know. Tony is bright, interesting and entertaining. He, also, has an Italian dessert named after him: BISCUIT TOR-TONY. Does it get any better than that? Yes, when you take Tony's A Slice Of Brooklyn Tour.

What a treat although a little misnamed. It might be better to break this into two great tours. One where we see and walk around more neighborhoods and one where we test out/eat more pizza. Tony is fabulous and we had the best time and learned a great deal. Can't wait to try his next tour. Highly recommend for both New Yorkers and tourists.
