| Great! Attended the tour on a Sunday in March. The tour is a family run business by a Brooklynite name Tony. The guide we got was his cousin Paula. We started by Union Square as a meeting point for the tour. We then made our way over to Brooklyn crossing over the Manhattan Bridge (since the Brooklyn bridge doesn't allow commercial traffic and we could get a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge from the Manhattan Bridge). The bus stopped in the DUMBO (down under the manhattan bridge overpass) area and we took a walk through the park under the Manhattan Bridge. After, the bus dropped us off at the Empire-Fulton Ferry Park adjacent to the Brooklyn Bridge.
First (of two) pizza meals was served next at Grimaldi's just east of the park. Grimaldi's is one of the few (if not only I'm not sure) restaurants that still use a coal fired oven. The pizzas apparently cook here in less than 3 minutes. We were served delicious Margherita pizza (mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil leaves) with a thin crust accompanied by a Brooklyn soda (I chose the black cherry).
After the meal, we then took the bus on 278 south towards Bay Ridge. Paula guided us through the neighborhood and told us many interesting facts about the area. We saw a lot of neat and (some) crazy looking houses in the Bay Ridge area.
We soon ended up at L&B Spumoni Gardens for our last pizza tasting. The pizza at L&B that was served was a Sicilian with the cheese melted onto the dough, then the sauce on top. After the meal, we had to choice to try spumoni, which I definitely did since I have never had it. Both the pizza and spumoni were excellent!
Our last stop in Brooklyn on the tour was Coney Island. The bus brought us to the boardwalk where we got off the bus and walked along the beach. Paula informed us about the history of the area as well as the famous landmarks and amusement parks that exist (and have existed).
The tour was 4 1/2 hours long but definitely well worth it. Our guide Paula was enthusiastic and definitely loved talking about her home. The pizza places chosen were also very delicious and I now plan on returning at some point. I definitely know a lot more about Brooklyn than I had before. Give this tour a shot if you love pizza and want something different than the ordinary NYC bus tour. |

| Our group lives in Southern Westchester. Our group consisted of my in-laws both in the 80's; my husband and I (in our 40's) and our 12 year old daughter. I am from the South, so it was my first time in Brooklyn. Everyone was thrilled! The historical information we received was intriguing and the "movie trivia" was so entertaining. But the pizza!!! I cannot say enough about the pizza! Just remember when you stop at the firt restuarant to save some room for the second resturant - which is OUT OF THIS WORLD GOOD!!!! Then you need some more room for that Nathan's hotdog!!! I highly recommend this tour to anyone - local or "out of town tourist". I can't wait to go on the Mobster tour!!! |

| I went on a Friday with a group of friends, some local New Yorkers, some visitors. We all did not know what to expect, except knowing we would be eating amazing pizza. The tour blew us away! From the movie highlights to all the neighborhoods of Brooklyn Paula described, we had a great time.
She was energetic, enthusiastic, and most of all FUN! Paula was a delight to be around. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to know more about Brooklyn, wants the best slice in NY and likes to enjoy themselves. I cant wait to take my mom on it when she visits from FL!!
Thanks,

| First off a couple of my friends and I went on this tour to learn more about Brooklyn and of course have a litttle pizza. 2 of us live in NYC and we had a friend visiting so we thought why not take this tour? We left with a ton of knowledge from our guide Paula and a lot of pizza to take home! This is great for anyone visiting or anyone that hasn't left Manhattan yet!! It was such a great tour that Paula led us on, we were also engagd and in awe the whole time. L&D-WOW, my favorite pizza ever!!! So much fun touring in our van we didn't even mind that it was a bit chilly outside. Anyone should go on this if they can, it's run by a family owned business and they care about you. 4 1/2 hours flew by and we didn't even want to eat for the rest of the day!! Paula you were great and I can't wait to take the Christmas Lights Tour!! |

| My wife and I decided to do something different for Valentine's Day so we signed up for the Pizza Tour. Our guide(s) Paula and Tony were excellent hosts and taught us so much we did not know about our beloved Brooklyn. The pizza was delish & the knowledge was even tastier.
Recommended for anyone & everyone who has a keen desire to eat pie and learn a little about new york's favorite borough. |

| Worth every penny - bus was clean, food was great, and Paula the tour guide was personable and knew what she was talking about. The best recommendation is that my wife and I are Brooklyn natives and we didn't even know some of the places and spots on the tour. Highly recommended! |
