A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

This is by far the BEST tour in all of NYC! We knew we would be eating great pizza, but had no idea how much we would learn and thoroughly enjoy this tour. Tony was amazing. I cannot recommend this tour enough. We will go again the next time family is in town. Thank you to A Slice of Brooklyn for making our year!!!

Have taken the tour twice; once with a press group from overseas, who were blown away; and next, with my brother and sister-in-law. A wonderful tour and commentary on Brooklyn. Both Tony and Paula are perfect tour leaders; lively, animated and friendly...and knowledgeable! A great way to spend the day with family and friends.

The tour guide was great, gave lots of great details on Brooklyn. The Pizza was amazing and we were stuffed by the end! A very good tour, informative, fun, and filling! I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone coming to New York!

Paula is a great tour guide! She was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable...and she has a great sense of humor! Paula interacted well with everyone and we could definitely see her pride in her hometown! The tour was a lot of fun and educational at the same time. Our main reason for signing up was because of a great review written in the Toronto Star about Tony Muia and his entrepreneurial spirit and interesting tour (and the pizza)....the pizza was pretty good, but it was the sight-seeing and stories we heard from Paula that were the real highlights of this tour. We could not have experienced a little bit of Brooklyn in a better way! Thank you.

From start to finish, this tour was wonderful. Paula was the perfect Brooklyn tour guide. Didn't need an lesson on the sites; she lived them all. The pizzas were outstanding and no waiting in either spot ... amazing connections. Great commentary and movie clips to boot. Interesting past and great vision. Can't wait to give the "cyclone" a try. We have a much better understanding of what it means to be a Brooklynite now ... truly the best of our country's "melting pot" cities ... and we are the better for it.

It was wonderful. Paula was wonderful. The pizza was excellent. The tour was spectacular. I am bringing my boyfriend and my mother back for every other tour you guys give. A colleague recommended this tour to me and I am grateful that she did. It was enjoyable for everyone in our group. We would all definitely go again! We learned a lot about the history and culture of Brooklyn and it also completely changed my perception of the borough. Tony, the guide, was very knowledgeable about the area. The driver, Mario, also did a great job. 4 thumbs up for this tour!

Tony took us for a very informative, entertaining and fattening tri[ around Brooklyn. The DVD clips of various movies related to the sights we were seeing added greatly to the overall enjoyment.

Paula greeted us with friendly enthusium which lasted the entire tour. Her pride of Brooklyn and her accent were a perfect match for our tour. After crossing the Manhattan Bridge we headed for the Brooklyn Bridge and got some great snapshots. Then on to some great piazza. We visited several neighborhoods and got a lot of history. I especially liked the co-ordinated movie shots with our tour. The French Connection, Goodfellows, Scent of a Woman and especilally Saturday Night Fever were highlights. The second piazza stop was my favorite. I finally got to see Coney Island,Nathan's and a park where Liza gives a free concert every summer. When I return next year, I plan to take the other tour of Slope Hill and Prospect Park, I would be interested in getting a hotel room in Brooklyn. Here's some advise for you Tony: Treat Paula right - You don't want her to compete with you!

If your looking for a true tour, not one desprately seeking to impress for the tourists dollar, this is it. A tour of Brooklyn (a place I had not before been too) with all the history, the glamour the icons, the movies and best of all, the best Pizza you could imagine. The tour guide (Paula) was down to earth, fun, knowledgeable and real (and from Brooklyn). Paula indeed made this tour the best ever. I saw this tyour on a travel special and when it came time for a well earned holiday, I planned my holiday to the other side of the world around this tour, and I was not dissapointed. We took children (6 & 9) and they loved it. They laughed and enjoyed it all the way, and it was interesting to keep them occupied throughout (and kids LOVE Pizza) This truly is a DON'T MISS tour if you are in NYC for any period of time. It shows Brooklyn, often forgotten by the tourist) in a whole new light. It takes you to two of the finest Pizzeria's you will ever go to to sample Pizza as it should be. Our thanks go to the operator and especially Paula and the driver Mario for making this day a highlight of our NYC visit. Don't worry about the weather, it's an all weather tour. It rained on our day and it made it that boit more personal. Going to NYC - Do not miss "a slice of Brooklyn". If you do miss it, it's your loss...
