| I was delightfully surprised when I discovered that not only was I getting a tour with pizza, but also a tour that mixed narration of the Brooklyn sites we traveled trough with cool movie clips from street corners etc that we went pass.
Pizza and Brooklyn, a great feeling of nostalgia delivered by a guy that obviously loves Brooklyn, got to see where Joe Pescis character in the move Godfellas was whacked in a suburban garage, went to where Gene Hackmans character runs under the above-ground-railway in the movie The French Connection. And much more.
And to finish it up, we stopped in Coney Island, walked the boardwalk, and some of us even rode the famous roller coaster that is there. It is quite bumpy so do follow Tony's advice and don't ride in the last most seat...
I could feel the beautiful nostalgia even when if I myself is not even from New York.
I head a great time. And Tony, the tour guide, gave us all a paper with the titles of the movies and the music played during the tour, and even if I have seen most of them before, I am sure I will watch them through again some day to return to that nice Brooklyn feeling.
Thanks for the tour Tony.

| 2 weeks before our holidays to New York (7 to 15th July 2007), we read an article in the weekend magazine of our Belgian newspaper about the Brooklyn Pizza Tour.
We found out more by checking the website and decided to give it a try.
And I must admit it was really a hit ! We simply loved it and our sons of 18 and 15 years old were ever so enthousiastic. Tony is the perfect guide one could wish, he did everything to make it comfortable and enjoyable to everyone, showed us around the most beautiful places in Brooklyn, took us to interesting places and famous film sets, told about the history and let us have two delicious pizza-stops. In the meantime that the driver was taking us to a next stop, Tony was showing extracts from well-known films and we could see where the scenes were taken, and we got to hear a lot of music from famous Brooklyners. He simply is such an energetic and enthousiastic narrator that everybody gets caught in the fire of the story.
We really can recommend the tour to everyone, and to us it was also a welcome change to be guided around by a professional because we did all the rest of our sightseeing in Manhattan on our own. We really keep an unforgettable and marvelous souvenir of Tony and his Brooklyn Pizza Tour! |

| The most friendly tour I have been on with Tony going out of his way to make the group feel at home in his part of New York.
The presentation of the tour was totally professional and well balanced but also very personal, far more so than any other tour I have done in New York.
The pizzas were great and the tour should appeal to all ages.
I will be recommending this tour to anyone I know visiting NY.
(just be prepared for the Cyclone ride at Coney Island.......not for the fainthearted!)

| The first I heard of the Pizza Brooklyn Tour was from an article in the Times back in February of 2007. It looked like a great thing to do and was very easy to book. The trip to New York was a 21st birthay present for our twin sons and this seemed something that guys of their age would enjoy. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Tony was a superb guide, a man that was not only passionate about pizza but passionate about his home town of Brooklyn. It really felt like being shown around by a friend. Both sorts of pizza were superb and having been to Sicily I can vouch for the authenticity. The visit to Coney Island and the boardwalk realised a long held ambition by my wife, her only complaint was she would have liked time to go onto the beach and paddle. We met some lovely people on the tour, sitting down with strangers and at the end of the day feeling that you were with friends is a great achievment. The film clips of Brooklin was an inspiration and we have enyoyed telling friends about DUMBO. Thank you Tony for giving me and my family a day to remember. |

| The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour was a wonderful and relaxing way to spend a day and get to know about Brooklyn - to say nothing of getting to sample some truly delicious pizza. Tony, our tour guide, was great - extremely knowledgeable, personable, and very professional. We highly recommend the tour. |

| The reviews are all spot on the man is a legend and started our holiday off with a great tonic. Any one looking for a first rate introduction to part of New York in a small intimate group and a brillant leader should book this value for money trip.
This is a suggestion. My son says Grimadi's is the best for pizza he has ever had and perhaps a variation of pizza topping and extra pizza would have been even better. The second stop was a quite heavy pizza and our group struggled to eat it. However why not make the stop for only the wonderful spumoni ice cream parlor instead of both pizza and ice cream. If you get your fill of Grimaldi then the ice cream is simply a master stroke to compliment and going on to the cyclone at coney would not be such a fear to some who were so full of pizza

| I recently spent 9 days in New York with my family, including children ages 15 and 11. I am originally from the Bronx, but my family had never been to New York. I had never been to Brooklyn, either. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Tony is very engaging and has lots of good stories. He took us around to a lot of interesting sights and was very mellow about the fact that we went well over the anticipated tour duration. The pizza places were phenomenal. Two of us liked Grimaldi's better, while the other two liked Spumoni's better. Regardless, they were both excellent. It was a real treat for my kids that they had a chance to ride the Cyclone at Coney Island. I think this tour is a real bargain for the price and would recommend it without reservations. Way to go Tony! |
