THE BEST TOUR OF BROOKLYN
Fri, Apr 23, 10   11:00 AM dskoniecki Female 50-59 Local Family With Children
Fuggedaboudit! This was by far the best tour of Brooklyn! Our guide, Paula, took us through the many burroughs of Bookline, savoring a bit of local history, Hollywood scenes and oh yeah, the pizza! My personal favoite, the margherita, the rest of the family, Sicilian. A little Spumoni, and a walking tour under Brooklyn Bridge and Coney Island added to the adventure. We left Brooklyn very satisfied and wanting more. A must do when visiting NYC. Tell Paula, Tony and Lou: "How you doin" for me!

After seeing a write-up in the Toronto Star about this tour, I knew that my next trip to New York had to include it. My husband and I had never been to Brooklyn and since we love pizza, we thought it would be a great way to get to know another part of New York. I've never enjoyed a day tour more thoroughly than this one. Paula was absolutely amazing as our tour guide. She has such a great sense of humour and makes everybody feel comfortable and welcome. She is so knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about sharing Brooklyn's history. I just loved her Brooklyn accent and attitude and she is obviously very proud of her home city. I found the size of the group to be intimate and comfortable - it's not a large, commerialized tour which I found to be a plus and I love that it's a family run business. I love that we saw two sides of Brooklyn; Grimaldi's being the touristy attraction and then dining with the locals at L&B. I would highly recommend this tour! We really enjoyed our day with Paula and wish you much success as you continue to grow your tour business.

Bottom line...I'm telling everyone I know about this tour, and my wife and I want to do this again with our parents and siblings. Everything about this tour was first class...you can tell that the principles of the company are obsessed with showing their guests a good time. I am not normally a "tour" kind of person, but this tour was fabulous. Paula, our tour guide, was enthusiastic, funny and very knowledgeable...and clearly a nice person. The pizza was nothing short of amazing, as was the spumoni! Brooklyn looks better than ever today, and the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour is far more fun and less expensive than a traditional New York Broadway show kind of day. Bravo!!!

Passionate Tour of Brooklyn

We loved our Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour! I'm rather picky about how I spend my vacation time and I can't recommend this tour more. We learned so much about parts of Brooklyn. The video clips really helped put the areas we were visiting in context. I loved seeing and walking around Coney Island. The tour and the pizza were amazing, but it was even better because Tony is so passionate about the pizza and Brooklyn. I can't wait to visit again and take other tours with Tony!

Lots of fun - a great birthday present!

My husband & I had never really seen Brooklyn (even such landmarks as Coney Island), so we grabbed another New Jersey friend & took the tour for my husband's birthday. What a great time! Tony was a wonderful host & we got to see & learn things we never would have discovered on our own. The pizza was was definitely yummy (Grimaldi's was our personal favorite) & Tony had obviously done his homework - right down to coordinating all those movie clips with the scenes we were actually driving past. Best of all, my husband's still talking about his fun birthday surprise. I would DEFINITELY recommend this tour to my friends!

Also comprehensive for non native english speakers. Not only a pizza tour, but also a piece of the Brooklin culture.

A "MUST DO" TOUR
Sun, Apr 11, 10   11:00 AM ThomasFCarr Male 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Individual
This is "must do" tour I would recommend for anyone who is traveling to NYC. It is nicely paced, but enthusiastically done by people invested in making it an unforgettable experience! As someone who has traveled to New York many times over the years, I was surprised at how much there was (and still is) to see in this part of the city, and this was a great start. I would also take any other tours that this group does!
