A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

I had tons of fun on Tony's Slice of Brooklyn Tour. The highlights for me were: All the views of Manhattan and the bridges from the Brooklyn side The fantastic pizza The trip to Coney Island (hadn't been there since I was around 12) The fantastic pizza All of Tony's stories about growing up in Brooklyn The fantastic pizza Tony himself! The fantastic pizza (and the delicious spumoni)! My husband has already made a reservation to take this tour in May when he's in NYC. Please go, you'll have a great time!

Took tour over 2005 Holidays and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Was in a party of 6 adults from Texas and we all had a great experience. Tour guide, owner, and life-long Brooklyn resident was outstanding and very genuine; smaller bus offered enjoyable tour environment contributing to effective communication of a broad range of topics re: Brooklyn's history, neighborhoods, new development and relationships with movie industry. Stops at pizzarias were wonderful and history of pizza business in NYC very interesting. Good balance of "on" and "off" time. Not a tour for small children, too much content. Will actively recommend tour to friends visiting NYC in future. After more than a dozen trips to NYC for vacation and having many interesting experiences, this your ranks right up at the top of enjoyment. Hope tour company will continue to grow and offer additional, similar style tours of other aspects of Brooklyn. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning about Brooklyn culture and having some great pizza.

I went on the internet to do research for a book report that I am doing on A Tree Grows in Brooklyn. I was looking for tours of Brooklyn and found Tony's. Although, this is not a literary tour, Tony and I managed to exchange a few words about this book. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed all the detail, Tony was able to share about this wonderful borough. Later, I went back on my own to explore the Williamsburg area. Another recommended read pertaining to this borough is A Brooklyn Reader. I look forward to my next visit to Brooklyn and hope Tony will be able to add additional tours!

this tour was excellent - very informative and interesting - a wide variety of topics are discussed - tony is very informative, interesting, articulate - does not hesitate to answer questions -- the food is fantastic - the pizza - and there are two different types are delicious - and tony offers explanations and the history of it all! my group loved the tour and we want to go again - we highly recommend it to everyone and anyone - if you love ny - you will love this tour - if you do not already love ny - you will!!

If you want a relaxing day with lots of food, and a friendlier than most - tour guide.....this is for you! It is a great way to see Brooklyn, with movie scenes and little stories thrown in. Nice photo ops also!

The food drew me to the tour but I most enjoyed getting acquainted with areas and neighborhoods whose names I've seen all my life in movies, books & the news (Bay Ridge, Bensonhurst, Coney Island, Brighton Beach). Tony was thoroughly entertaining and informative. The pizza was super and don't miss the spumoni at L&B. Don't eat breakfast and insist on stopping by the original Nathan's at Coney Island.

Tony is a most enthusiastic and articulate tour guide. He is so knowledgeable about his beloved Brooklyn and it is apparent he spent many hours researching the area to make this tour perfect. His movie clips and the music were perfectly timed to the locations we were visiting. The pizza was wonderful. And make sure you leave room for the spumoni and/or an authentic New York egg cream at L&B Spumoni Gardens. I look forward to returning to the two restaurants we visited to sample some of their other food. My husband and I thought this tour was great! Tony is very knowledgeable -- he's done his research. In addition to all the interesting information he gave us throughout the tour, he knew the answers to everyone's questions. What made it even better is that he is a truly nice person! Icing on the cake - the pizza was delicious! We'll do it again when we are in New York and have already recommended it to family in New Jersey.

Our tour was canceled the night before it was to occur. We were disappointed, but will reschedule next time we visit NYC. Our money was IMMEDIATELY refunded and we appreciated the prompt communication.

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Tony made it really fun, interesting and enlightening. He sure knows the history. The video and music totally round out the tour nicely - adds some really GREAT ambience! I would highly recommend to all - locals as well as other people from outside the NY-NJ area.
