Fun and Delicious!

My husband and I took this tour. We live in CT and have spent a lot of time in Manhattan, but never ventured into Brooklyn before. (JFK doesn't count!) The meeting stop was easy to reach by subway. The bus was comfortable with enough leg room for my husband's long legs. It was a lovely sunny day, so the views were spectacular. Brooklyn is a fabulous vantage point from which to see lower Manhattan. Our tour guide, Paula was fun and informative. She was obviously very proud of "her" borough and was right when she said we will come back again. This tour was a good introduction to Brooklyn with some delicious pizza along the way. My husband liked the thin-crust at Grimaldi's while I preferred the thick-crust at L & B. We took this tour on a whim, but will definitely be back for another round when we have visitors in town. In the meantime, we will be exploring Brooklyn on our own now that we have a good starting point. Thank you to Paula and Kevin, the driver, for a fun and delicious tour!

This was a great way to spend our one day in NYC. We wanted something different and this tour offered it - plus the wine and pizza was great, too!

Brooklyn Ambassador

Tony makes a great ambassador to his beloved Brooklyn. His attention to details and knowledge of his subject added so much to this tour. We learned so much of the history and background of Brooklyn and saw much more on this tour than we had expected. The movie sites, Coney Island, Brighton Beach....all places that we had heard and read about for years, were all included. Oh, and the pizza was great, too! You will not go wrong when you book this tour....it is worth every penny!

A slice of Brooklyn pizza tour was far more than i bargained for. Our tour guide "Tony" was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about his native, beloved hometown of Brooklyln. This tour gave me a glimpse of the "real" Brooklyn, sqaushing all of the preconceived notions i had based on movies and television. If you're in NYC, i highly recommend this tour! I found it to be an eye opening experience that will bring me back to Brooklyn on future visits to NYC.

In a nutshell - the tour was organized, Tony knowledgable, informative, and well spoken, and the food was delicious. I felt it was on par with Foods of NY Tours.

a pleasant way to spend a wet Sunday afternoon

Paula introduced us to Brooklyn, as if it were an old friend. She obviously loves the place, and its contagious. The pizza was- OK, - not $ 75 worth, but the rest of the tour made up for it. It would cost that much in cab fares to get to Coney Island and Brighton Beach, and the commentary of each neighbourhood was priceless.

This was a perfect activity for a Sunday Afternoon. The Tour guide was knowledgable and the pizza was great. Only 2 Pizza stops on the trip, I was thinking there would have been a couple more.

Paula was so friendly. From the moment we met her I knew it was going to be a good day. She shared so much knowledge and had a great personality. The whole day was so well organised, bus was immaculant and clean and nothing was a problem. Had plenty of time at the 2 restaurants and more than enough to eat. A great way to seel Brooklyn and what better way to do it than eating pizza in a friendly enviroment. will be reccomending this tour to all of my friends so worth the money jump on board you will not be dissapointed.
