A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour was awesome! Celebrating our 30th Anniversary on our 2nd trip to NY, and this was our Favorite Tour in the 3 Cities we visited. Paula was so fun to have as a tour guide and they allow ample time for walking some of the sites for some great views of the bridges and Manhattan. VIP service at Grimaldies Pizza, straight to our waiting tables while the line forms outside, only to enjoy the most incredible Margarita style pizza ever! You may never find this place if you don't know about it. L&B Spumoni Gardens offers a completely different style of Sicilian pizza and is also very notable, along with a nice treat of Spumoni or ice cream (few bucks, not included) to walk away completely stuffed with great food. The tour bus was very nice, comfortable and air conditioned on a very hot afternoon. It was also cool to watch a movie clip, then pull up to the same view for yourself, along with a little trivial history provided by our guide Paula. Make the time to get off Manhattan for a few hours and put yourself in their hands for a great experience!

Paula was an absolute joy to have as a tour guide. She provides a wealth of information on the history of Brooklyn. So many of the places you have seen on tv, the movies, or read about in novels are part of the tour. The 4.5 hours flys by. The pizza is a definite plus, but the informative and enjoyable narration provided by Paula makes this tour much more than a food tour.

Best part of my trip to NYC

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, but moved away when I was 21. I took my Israeli born wife and 22 year old step daughter on this tour to show them an overview of where I spent my youth. They enjoyed seeing Brooklyn for the first time as much as I did in reminiscing. Paula, our tour guide was a delightful and knowledgeable individual.

This tour was a lot of fun. The tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Very good value and delicious pizza.

Energetic, Enthusiastic, and Informative, that was our guide Paula! Our family thoroughly enjoyed all we learned and LOVED the food! The history of Brooklyn was great. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Brooklyn and enjoy some GREAT eats!

On September 2nd, my parents, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour. Paula was an enthusiastic, funny and well-informed guide. Edwin, our driver, negotiated lots of construction with ease. The bus was new, clean and sported all the amenities including TV screens for viewing great clips of Brooklyn. The pizza was an added bonus. And did I mention my parents were 90 and 83 years young? Their needs were nicely accommodated, too. Thank you!
