Excellant Tour - Highly Recommend

My two son's (18 & 20) and I would highly recommend A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour to anyone visiting New York. My son's wanted to make sure we ate pizza during our trip to NY and this tour turned out to be the high light of our trip to NYC. We have been on other tours in NYC and other cities, but this tour is one that we talked about days afterwards. We had a very good time with our tour guide (Paula) and she was very informative and gave us a lot of facts that people don't know about Brooklyn. The movie clips of the different places that were filmed in Brooklyn that we visited during the tour was very enjoyable and an added extra that we had not seen on other tours before. And last but not least - - - the pizza that we got to eat was out of this world and I myself do not care for pizza, but I would eat at the places that the tour stopped at again. All three of us know that we will never eat that good of a pizza again unless it is in Brooklyn. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, not only for the excellant pizza, but for the visit to Brooklyn!

Want to see a different side to NYC?

Bored with skyscrapers? Sick of hot dawgs & pretzels? Want to see a different side to NYC? The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour might just be the right tour for you. Having visited New York on several previous occasions, we had a desire to see something other than the traditional sights of Manhattan. The tour fulfilled our expectations. Led by our enthusiastic guide, we were given the opportunity to try 2 different kinds of pizza (including the famous Grimaldi's where we skipped past the long line outside the restaurant and were shown to our pre-booked table ... Sinatra wouldn't have had better treatment). We saw the Manhattan skyline from Brooklyn (where it's far more impressive than looking up at the towering buildings from within the great canyons of Manhattan itself); re-enacted the opening scene of Saturday Night Fever and walked along the famous Coney Island Boardwalk. A courteous, enthusiastic and knowledgeable host; good food and some great sights. A fantastic way to spend 4 hours. (Incidentally, we did this trip on the last day of our vacation ... it was an ideal activity to do when the bags had already been packed in readiness for our flight back to the UK).

Leave Manhattan for 4 hrs. You'll be glad you did!

My wife and I make an annual pilgrimage to Manhattan to visit museums and shop. We've always thought about heading over to Brooklyn to check out the happenings on the other side of the river, but we never knew where to start. So when we heard about the pizza tour, it sounded like the perfect way to to get an intro to another borough. And what a great tour it was. You can read all the stats and details on your own -- let me say that it was a flat out fun way to spend four hours. Tony (tour guide and owner) is excited about his hometown and by the time the tour is over you will be too. His presentation is loaded with history, pop culture references and plenty of laughs. The pizza is amazing. And now my wife and I know enough about Brooklyn to strike out on our own. Book the tour! Book the tour!

Don't Miss This Tour - It's FABULOUS

My granddaughter and I were visiting NYC as her graduation gift. This was no doubt one of the highlights of the trip. This tour takes you away from the hustle and bustle of NYC and transports you into a beautiful NY neighborhood. Paula, our guide and Tony's cousin, was absolutely wonderful. Being from Brooklyn, she was full of stories and memories to share. Her narration and delivery style were full of fun, grit, and lots of "insider" info. This tour is worth every penny - fabulous pizza and spumoni, just enough walking, lots of laughs. Delores was our driver. What a jewel and BOY, did she do a great job getting us around town and out of tight spots. Don't miss this tour opportunity. It's a jewel and Brooklyn is beautiful.

This was a first class tour from start to finish. The reservation procedure was very easy. They did a great job keeping us up to date with reminders and detailed instructions. The bus and tour guide were waiting at the meeting point when we arrrived, and we received a friendly greeting. The bus was clean and modern, the driver professional. The sound and video systems were first class. The tour was very interesting, keeping our attention from start to finish. The tour guide was very informative, having grown up in the area. We really enjoyed the Hollywood film clips that featured the locations we were travelling through. We had only expected great food, but instead we got great food AND wonderful vistas, sights, sounds as well as smells. Paula, our guide, was a great hostess. She was cute, funny and smart! Tony...give her a raise! Best tour we have ever taken! (and we travel a lot)

I have taken part in a number of tours. By far, A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour is one of my favorites. I went for my husband's birthday with friends and we couldn't have asked for a better time. Our tour guide, Tony, combined Brooklyn street smarts with historical facts and movie clips to deliver a tour that is both funny and informative. The tour really inspires you to want to learn all there is to know about Brooklyn. Too boot, L&B Spumoni Gardens serves the best Sicilian slice of pizza I've ever eaten! Thanks for a great time!

I am not one to go on tours nor do I normally like them. However, this is great. I have been to NYC several times with family and have done the usual tourist stuff. My 15 year old son and I went on the tour and both of us thought it was the best thing we did in Nyc this time. highly reccomended

We had a great time on this tour. It was a beautiful day and Tony was a great host, very funny and lively, and he loves Brooklyn and showing it to guests. He was very genuine about wanting everyone to have a good time. Views of Manhattan from photo stops were incredible and Tony took individual pictures for everyone who wanted one. Oh, and the pizza--very different styles and both very, very good (Jon's Pizzaria was still our favorite though). We loved seeing all the movie clips and the actual film locations, especially for Saturday Night Fever, a favorite. We felt the tour was worth every penny and we probably would not have visited Brooklyn otherwise. Loved the tour, loved the pizza, loved Tony's enthusiasm. Tony really made the day; great time and lots of fun!

A perfect way to see Brooklyn!

My wife and I cannot recommend this tour too strongly. We had a wonderful time! Our tour guide, Paula, is a Brooklyn resident and her deep knowledge, as well as her pride in the area, really made the tour both informative and a lot of fun. Seeing clips from popular movies we all know, while looking at the actual locations where the filming took place, was a unique experience. Eating pizza at the top locations around Brooklyn simply speaks for itself. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants a fun, New York experience. If any of our friends want to go on the tour, we would gladly do it again. On a scale of 1 to 10, A Slice of Brooklyn is an 11! You should do this! Michael
