A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

We travel to Manhatten at least once a year but have never made it to Brooklyn. We saw Tony on the Today Show over a year ago and made a note to give this a try on our next trip. Highly recommend it to anyone interested in fabulous views, interesting neighborhoods and of course great pizza. Our guide, Peggy, was informative, fun and entertaining. We will recommend to all of our California friends when they head back East.

First off a couple of my friends and I went on this tour to learn more about Brooklyn and of course have a litttle pizza. 2 of us live in NYC and we had a friend visiting so we thought why not take this tour? We left with a ton of knowledge from our guide Paula and a lot of pizza to take home! This is great for anyone visiting or anyone that hasn't left Manhattan yet!! It was such a great tour that Paula led us on, we were also engagd and in awe the whole time. L&D-WOW, my favorite pizza ever!!! So much fun touring in our van we didn't even mind that it was a bit chilly outside. Anyone should go on this if they can, it's run by a family owned business and they care about you. 4 1/2 hours flew by and we didn't even want to eat for the rest of the day!! Paula you were great and I can't wait to take the Christmas Lights Tour!!

We had a very interesting and kind guide, the tour bus was very nice not to mention the succulent PIZZAS! Ever since our return home we're still talking about the tour! It was a great idea to have the movie scenes on screen and then having visiting the site. Thank you for making our experience a memorable one, we had really enjoyed ourselves.

My daughter and I took your pizza tour , while doing a long weekend in NY to see a few shows.We found it a fun, relaxing way to see Brooklyn .Having never been there before, I found it an informative little tour.Our guide ,was a cute Italian girl ,she shared lots of fun ,interesting facts regarding Brooklyn.Movies made , actors born there,good restaurants and the sites.The pizza tasting was also a fun addition to the tour.We liked the 'Grimaldi's' thin crust the best ! All in all ,we enjoyed it !!

My wife, son and I took the Slice of Brooklyn tour on Saturday 2/21/2009. Due to a flight issue, a large group never mde it, so there ended up being only seven of us on the bus. Maria was our tour guide; she comes directly from italy (Bologna, I think). She is an actress by profession, and her ease of speaking was evident. She did an outstanding job showing us everything on the tour, and she was able to field a wide array of questions from us tourists! The pizze at Grimaldi's and L&B was excellent, of course. My wife bought some spumoni at L&B for the ride back to Manhattan, and it was excellent too. We would...and already have...recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a nice overview of Brooklyn, something I really enjoyed.

This tour was great! The tour guides were very knowledgable, the tour was very interesting and the pizza was great!! I highly reccomend this tour to anyone visitng New York.

Learning about Brooklyn was fascinating. Maria, our guide, was knowledgeable and authentic! There is so much history intertwined with trivia, movie clips, humor, and yes! pizza as well. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Some people come to New York without ever leaving Manhattan, I am so glad we took the opportunity to leave the island and take the slice of Brooklyn tour. It was without a shadow of a doubt the best tour we took during our stay, Tony was an amazing guide with a great enthusiasm for his home area and his job. I learnt so much during the day and got to see and head about areas I wouldn't have visited. Thank you for opening my eyes to a different side of NY and when I come to NYC again I will be signing up for the Mafia tour! He has a slice of the market that no-one has corned yet! And the Pizza was amazing too! I will be recommending this tour to all of my friends and anyone else I find out is going to New York!
