I thought the tour was fun and informative. The pizza was great and Tony made it very interesting. The people on the tour were friendly and seemed to have a good time and we have recommended it to several people already.

Fun tour, great guide, comfy van!

We take a tour in every city we visit, and have taken quite a few in NYC. We would consider this one of the best overall. The tour itself was interesting and informative. Tony was an excellent guide, with great enthusiasm for his hometown - which transferred to all of us! The pace of the tour was well thought out, too - just enough on/off stops, and "in the seat" time was well mixed with information from Tony and fun video clips. Our group was most impressed with the details of the tour - the van was very nice, well air conditioned, with easy to see video screens. Windows were huge - so even if you did not have a window seat, you could see well. The group size (ours was 28) was perfect - made it easy to get on/off the van. Tony even had the driver stay with the van at all times so you did not have to lug your stuff around at each stop! The pizza WAS the best -as was the spumoni that we treated ourselves to at the last stop. As we never have more than a few days in the City, we are always quite picky about how we choose to spend our time. This was 3 1/2 hours very well spent & we are already talking about taking one of his other tours on our next visit!

The best tour in NY!!!!!

My mom & I recently visited New York, and we took several tours. "A Slice of Brooklyn" was the absolute best, without question! Tony was just terrific, too! He's so entertaining and really makes the tour what it is. You can tell that he really loves what he's doing and loves Brooklyn through & through (and his Uncle Louie was a sweetie as well). The pizza & spumoni were the best we've ever tasted, and believe me, we've tasted a lot! If you visit NY, you have to take Tony's tour to learn all about Brooklyn & the best pizza in the country! I'm ready to go back & take another tour!!! :)

Worth 3 times the tour ticket price!

Owner and operator, Tony Muia, was amazing in his knowledge of Brooklyn and his ability to translate it in a fun, witty, interesting and thoroughly enjoyable way. Plus - the pizza was so delicious it defies description. I was so impressed, I featured the "Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour" in my personal blog post on our trip to New York City. Please feel free to sneek a peek if you're interested.

My husband and I are from Long Island and went to the tour with friends who were visiting from Virginia. We absolutely loved the tour. Tony, our guide, was so informative and his passion for Brooklyn really came through. Manhattan from the Brooklyn side is just beautiful. I felt very proud to be a New Yorker! The pizza was delicious--we really enjoyed both styles, the thin-crust from Grimaldi's and the Sicilian from L & B Spumoni Gardens. Also, the spumoni (not included in the price) was well worth it! We thank Tony and Uncle Louis for a terrific day!

Excellent well thought out tour with lots to see plus fantastic pizza and spumoni to try. Tony is a great guide and is so knowledgeable about Brooklyn and it's history. We had a great time and would say it is a must do on a trip to New York. The two restaurants we visited are very different in style and in type of pizza they offer - both were excellent and the visits to the restaurants are very well organised without making you feel rushed. We would happily take the tour again and plan to take one of Tony's other tours next time we visit New York.

Tony did a fantastic job of showing us the sites in Brooklyn. Would have like ONE more pizza tasting but still enjoyed this tour very much.

The highlight of a great trip!

We had a great time on Tony's tour! It was the highlight of another incredible trip to NYC. The stops for pizza made it unlike other tours of NYC and both places were great! It was especially fun to walk right in when there was a line down the block at Grimaldi's. It was a unique experience to sit down in Brooklyn for a slice with tourmates from around the world, getting to know each other and finding out why Tony was so passionate about Brooklyn and PIZZA. Tony was full of info from US history and the growth of the borough, to pop culture, Brooklyn-born celebs, and the mob. (We will definitely be back for his "Wise Guys" tour about the mob in Brooklyn!) Jumping off the bus in front of the Brooklyn Bridge and for a walk down the Coney Island boardwalk, two places that are simply iconic as New York landmarks and as the backdrops of movies seen all over the world, actually took my breath away. The tour was absolutely worth every penny!

I have never been to Brooklyn before but heart a lot about it. The tour gave me a more positive view of Brooklyn. I guess I had the stereotypical view, mostly from movies, that Brooklyn was a low-class place of low-class people. I had the impression it was run down, but it isn't. In fact, there are are some high class areas. I highly recommend the tour. Tony makes it very interesting.

This was a great way to see Brooklyn and learn about Brooklyn. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. The 4.5 hours went by extremely quickly.
