A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

I love this tour. I have been on it twice and think it is one of the very best in NYC!

We had a great time on the Brooklyn Pizza tour and the pizza was amazing!! The tour was well-organized and we learned a lot about Brooklyn. Paula was our knowledgeable tour guide- born and raised in Brooklyn with a great sense of humor.

Paula, our tour guide, was great. Enjoyed the pizza and seeing the various parts of Brooklyn.

The tour was very scenic and very informative. Our guide, Paula gave detailed and interesting information of the area and we weren't bored for a moment. I would recommend this highly, it was the first thing we did when we got to New York and provided a good view and information of the city. There were enough stops for photo opportunities without the tour being too long and we go to see enough of Brooklyn to see where we wanted to spend more time.

I first went on this tour about five years ago with some friends, and when planning my most recent visit with my husband, I knew we absolutely had to do this tour. I enjoyed it just as much as the first time and my husband really loved the experience. Great food, great sight-seeing, and a great tour guide. We highly recommend this wonderful experience of Brooklyn!

Enjoyed thoroughly!! Our guide was excellent, entertaining, enthusiastic and made the tour enjoyable. Loved seeing Brooklyn briefly and the pizza was delicious. Would recommend tour for sure!!

Great tour, well organised and very informative. Paula, the tour guide, was both enthusiastic and passionate about the area and was very knowledgeable of the local history. Would recommend this tour to people who like food and want to see a different part of New York.

The bus picked us up promptly on schedule. Paula was our tour guide. She's very knowledgeable, being a life-long resident of Brooklyn. Be advised that she talks...and talks.....and talks.....Lol. Sweet girl, but sometimes you wish she would stop for a couple of minutes to catch her breath. Our tour stopped at Grimaldi's and L&B Spumoni Gardens. Grimaldi's was good- thin crust, coal oven pizza. Could have (and should have) eaten more there. Was not impressed with L&B Spumoni Gardens....very over rated, and the servers rushed us out. They were pulling the pies off the tables as soon as they were placing them there. There was an issue with the bathroom/sewage on our bus....the bus smelled AWFUL due to a backed up toilet or something, plus there were exhaust fumes in the cabin on top of that. Not sure what the deal was. But we had a beautiful day weather-wise and really enjoyed the tour overall. I'd recommend they drop the price....not worth the $80 per person they charge.

This was such a fun afternoon, mostly made possible by the amazing Paula. Her intimate and passionate knowledge of Brooklyn was evident through her stories and anecdotes. She was also great taking everyone's picture with the iconic NYC landmarks on the tour. As for the pizza, couldn't have asked for 2 better stops. The coal-fired pizza of Grimaldi's and the sicilian goodness of L&B Spumoni Gardens definitely filled us up!! The only thing I could possibly say for any sort of constructive feedback is to possibly add some newer movie clips (if possible) into the tour. As the newer generation of pizza eaters come around, they may not be AS familiar with The French Connection or Scent of a Woman, and it may be lost on them. And maybe a little time to grab a Nathan's hot dog on Coney Island :) But all that aside, if you want to escape Mahattan for 5 hours of fun, food and FUHGETTABOUTIT, please take this tour!!!
