Not just a pizza tour

I was very surprised at how much there is to see in brooklyn. And having 4.5 hours to see it was great. Tony is full of knowlege of his home town and loves to show it off. And the pizza was incredible. like nothing you have ever had before. One of my favorite parts was going to coney island. It reminded me of one of my favorite movies ( The Warriors) . I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And I look forward to trying some of Tony's other tours in the near future. Thanks W. Galarneau III Boston , MA.

This tour is worth every penny. Not only is the pizza phenominal but Tony is incredibly knowledgable about Brooklyn and has a great sense of humor to boot! I grew up in the NY metropolitan area but never spent any time in Brooklyn and boy did I come away with a great sense of its history and great stories to tell friends. Tony's use of film clips is just terrific (there is a movie screen right above you like in an airplane)...you drive by what you just saw in a movie! It really makes everything come alive! Walking down the boardwalk in Cooney Island was wonderful! This tour is great for all ages, the pizza is fantastic, doesn't require much walking and is all around a great three and 1/2 hours!

We really enjoyed this tour. Not only is there pizza, Tony talks about the history of Brooklyn, the neighborhoods, the people and the food. We also walked the Boardwalk at Coney Island. My husband and I, and our 13 year old daughter, all had a great time.

I'm a big fan of pizza in the first place, which means that I suspected I'd enjoy the tour. Funnily enough, that's not what makes it so special. For sure, the pizza at Grimaldi's (walking past the queues outside) is fantastic, probably the best you'll ever have. The tour is made, though, by the enthusiasm of Tony, a Brooklynite through and through, who takes you to places famous from the movies and from mob killings. In case you don't remember the movies - don't worry, Tony plays clips in the very comfortable bus as you're going past the locations. Especially memorable are the Saturday Night Fever and French Connection clips - you're really there! This is probably the best tour I've ever done - my only criticism would be that it ended too soon! Well done Tony, I'm sure you'll enjoy much success!

The Slice of Brooklyn tour was a wonderful day spent learning tidbits about Kingsborough (Brooklyn), eating great pizza and enjoying Tony's animated commentary. I enjoyed walking on the Coney Island boardwalk and having photo opportunities of the Brooklyn Bridge. A day well spent!

Da Bomb!

Having a real Brooklynite share the deep tradition of not only the place in history of pizza and its migration into NYC, but to hear the history of the neighborhoods was "Da Bomb." The sell point to this was the real life experience and pride the host had in his city, his bororugh , and more importantly his pizza selections. We aprpeciated the interacted not only during the tour but more impressive was his ability to sit with us while we ate and shared his views and inquired about ours. Class act!!!!!! This ranked right up their with our visit to the bronx to watch the Yankees beat Boston. I will definately repeat my afternoon spent with Tony, for both the food and his passion for his borough.

Tony makes you feel that you are his special guests. Plenty of delicious pizza. Videos add a lot to the overall tour. I can't imagine going on "A Slice of Brooklyn and not have Tony be your guide. He was pleasant and attentive. No one knows Brooklyn like he does. I'd highly recommend the tour and in fact we already have. I look forward to other tours that Tony may lead. This one was worth every penny

Great Pizza/Great Tour

This tour is thoughtfully put together by Tony and he acts as a perfect guide. He was always looking out for all of us, being sure to keep everyone within earshot , The video clips that he has organized about the area you are seeing is perfectly done. The 2 different styles of pizza are so distinct (and delicious) that they are sure to please all palates. The sightseeing stops are wonderful photo ops and just getting the history of the borough is terrific. My favorite stop was at Coney Island having heard so much about it from my grandmother and never having visited myself. I could just picture her on the beach! We are looking forward to joining Tony on one of his new, upcoming tours! You will not regret doing the Brooklyn Pizza Tour - it's worth every penny.
