A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

We loved the Brooklyn pizza tour! We had a lovely guide: Paula, very funny. Isn't shy at all, forgettaboudit! The food is everything they promise: very good pizza, and great spumoni. Great family owned restaurant. We visited lots off spots from famous movies, Brooklyn felt familiar. Coney island (konijnen eiland in dutch), Dumbo, million dollar mansions,little Odessa: we loved it all. Great pictures Brooklyn felt like home, next time were coming to NewYork will take the offer from Paula to stay in Brooklyn in the 4*Hotel down her street. We came all the way from Holland especially for this tour (We were on our honeymoon, we met over pizza so we definitely wanted to do this tour) and it was awesome! We leave you with some suggestions for your famous Brooklynites list: Joey Tribbiani (Howyoudoin?), Madball, Sick of it all, Beastie Boys. Thanks for a great day, Patricia and Martin

We very much enjoyed the tour. The pizza was great and the movie clips along the way was entertaning. The sights and the bridge were beautiful. I will recommend to anyone going to NY to take this tour.

Paula is, as described in other reviews, delightfully mouthy. In fact, I think she should have t-shirts made that say as much. I'd buy that! The day after the tour, we were visiting with some local friends and told them about all the things we learned. They decided they need to take that tour, too, and they've lived there their whole lives. As for the pizza, my husband and I are a house divided in our preference. This is a debate that will live for years. The very best part was skipping that painfully long line at Grimaldi's. Sometimes, it's good to be a tourist. Embrace it and fuhgeddaboutit.

I live in Ft. Greene and used this tour as an opportunity to see other parts of Brooklyn AND to show my parents around my borough during their summer visit. Paula was a fantastic tour guide and I experienced a lot of Brooklyn that I hadn't before. The pizza was fantastic, and I was able to avoid the lines at Grimaldi's, which is worth a large part of the ticket price! Speaking of ticket prices, if you factor in how much you'd spend on the generous portions of pizza and beverages that come with the tour, it's very reasonable. Recommended!

Our guide was great! Tour was a good showcase of Brooklyn, bus was comfortable and had a bathroom, would have liked it if the tour covered more areas like Williamsburg, Park Slope, etc, but overall it was fantastic. Got to skip the line at the pizza places and the pizza was delicious. Would definitely take another tour with this company again.

Our group of nine friends from Australia took the Slice of Brooklyn tour and it was fantastic. We had Paula as our guide and she did a great job of passionately showing us her hometown. It really showed that she knew and loved her town, and that made the tour great. The tour takes you all over Brooklyn, showing you movie locations, giving a bit of history and of course sampling some of the best pizza you will ever have. I would highly recommend you take this tour to get out and see more of New York than Manhattan and try some great pizza.

We decided to do the Slice of Pizza Brooklyn Tour on a whim. We were extremely satisified. Paula was our tour guide and did a wonderful job at showing us Brooklyn and teaching us the history. The accent certainly helped with the overall feel of the journey too. There were three of us in our party and my other two friends felt the same way. At the end of the tour, some of their other offerings, both present and future, were explained and we will definitely try some others out. Kids and adults alike would enjoy this event. The pizza was FAB-U-LOUS!!!!

My boyfriend and I embarked on the Brooklyn Pizza Tour with Paula on Sunday, June 27th as part of my birthday celebration. We both love to eat and more importantly love to eat pizza! I think it has been so hard to write this email because I can not put into words how much we enjoyed every part of the tour experience! It was outstanding! But what I really think made the tour so special, simply said, was Paula! She was outstanding from the moment we met her in Manhattan. Paula has to be one of the most genuine and nice people I have ever met. Paula not only was extremely educated on every aspect of the tour and Brooklyn, but constantly referred (not in a boasting manner at all) of all the research she and the rest of the company continuously did to keep informed. The effort and work behind the scenes was evident at every stop of our tour. Paula was such a professional in every aspect of her job. She not only catered to each one of us, but also was able to juggle several mishaps beyond her control while teaching a new bus driver to navigate the streets of Brooklyn. Paula also created such a warm and comfortable experience. I felt as though I was with family while roaming the streets of Brooklyn experiencing it all. At the end of the tour she even made a comment that if we were to ever visit Brooklyn to email your company and you would help in anyway. Most people might say it...but not really mean it. My boyfriend and I both agreed that it was truly from the heart. Everything she said was! I really felt like I could call on you for any advice when visiting Brooklyn and you would be more than glad to help out. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! It was so nice to have such an amazing day as a birthday celebration! It was an experience that I will never forget! I definitely will spread the word of how much a enjoyed myself, and please let me know if there is anything I can do to help continue your success! We do plan to embark on your holiday tour!
