A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, but moved away when I was 21. I took my Israeli born wife and 22 year old step daughter on this tour to show them an overview of where I spent my youth. They enjoyed seeing Brooklyn for the first time as much as I did in reminiscing. Paula, our tour guide was a delightful and knowledgeable individual.

This was definitely the best part of our time in New York, this more than just a pizza tour, the pizzas were fantastic. The hosts made us see a much better part of New York and from their prospective, would definitely do a tour with this company again,especially the pub tour if Paula was going to show us as she has a lot of enthusiasm for what she does. The day before we did a full Manhattan tour with Grayline and the host seemed like he was hung over, talked to fast and no-one could figure what he was talking about. By the end of tour he had lost people off the bus.

The bright-eyed, vivacious and wonderfully knowledgeable Paula was our tour leader on the Slice of Brooklyn Tour. We boarded our modern, comfortable tour bus in Manhattan and there began our 4 and 1/2 hour trip of discovery. Paula's lively commentary, recorded music, picture stills and film clips enhanced the world outside our window. Several stops along the way had us exploring both hidden and popular park gems with magnificent views of the Brooklyn Bridge or Brooklyn shoreline. Visits to numerous neighbourhoods (again Paula's wealth of information delighted and entertained), a walk on the Boardwalk at Coney Island and drives down oft filmed Brooklyn streets (with clips from the big screen keyed to the street-scape) were a part of the fun. AND, of course, there was the PIZZA! Two stops - one for thin crust, one for thick crust - we were full to bursting. It was one of the best tours that we have ever been on - so good that we would do it all again in a heartbeat!

This tour was a lot of fun. The tour guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Very good value and delicious pizza.

Energetic, Enthusiastic, and Informative, that was our guide Paula! Our family thoroughly enjoyed all we learned and LOVED the food! The history of Brooklyn was great. We would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn more about Brooklyn and enjoy some GREAT eats!

The best tour in NYC, two thumbs up. Not only do you get to experience the most delicious pizza! The tour guide (s) have extensive knowledge, make you feel part of the their family and you can truely feel his/her passion for Brooklyn and Pizza.

Paula was great! Very enthusiastic and informative about the area. Learned information about all parts of Brooklyn. I would do the tour again in a minute.

Enjoyable, potted history of Brooklyn and its famous sons and daughters. Our guide was Paula who as a proud and knowledgeable Brooklynite gave us a real insight into living and growing up in Brooklyn. All of this while enjoying some delicious pizza. We highly recommend this tour.
