A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

Really enjoyed it, we wouldnt have been able to go to all those places under our own steam. The day flew by, very interesting, pizza wasnt too bad either.lol

First of all, Tony is a fantastic guide! My husband described him as a guy you'd want to sit and have a beer with...the ultimate compliment! Our day was enjoyable and enlightening. We, all 7 of us, live close to Brooklyn, but knew so little about it. The tour was a nonstop flow of interesting information and laughs. There were video prompts to aid with the scene recognition, and it was timed to the second! A lot of preparation went into organizing this tour. The pizza stops were fun, but for me, they were just an added bonus. The tour alone was worth the cost and effort involved in getting 7 people there on a beautiful Saturday! We all had a blast!

We'd read that this tour was good from various sources, and I'm glad to report that such praise was entirely justified, as the "Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour" proved to be one of the highlights of our trip. I was especially impressed with Tony Muia the tour guide - his knowledge and enthusiasm for Brooklyn was infectious, and the whole tour was really well organized and very slick - you might think that 4 1/2 hours is a long time to look around Brooklyn, but the time absolutely flew by. My own personal highlight was finally getting to see Coney Island - definitely not the type of location you'd think was in New York !! If you can spare the time on a trip to New York then I would unreservedly reccommend this tour - indeed we intend to look at some of the other tours offered by Tony Muia when we return next year.

Great time had by everyone - from the 12 year old through her grandparents and several age groups in between! Had a good mix of history....current events...and food to keep everyone happy - and with a group as diverse in age and interests as ours was - that's saying something! We are hoping to try the Christmas Lights Tour sometime - and our guide (Tony) mentioned something about a new Ethnic Food Tour that my daughter is still talking about....guess we will need to head back to NYC soon! Thanks for everything - we had a great...and filling!.....time!!

We found this tour on a website based on a recommendation from American Airlines customers. What a find and what a blast! We truly enjoyed the history, the visit to another borough and of course, the food. We recommend this whole-heartedly. Tony is fantastic and the history of Brooklyn cannot be better told. He does a fabulous job taking you through the neighborhood.

an afternoon with tony provides you a delightful experience of the tastes and views from brooklyn. this was my second visit with tony not to be missed if you are a local or visiting not to be missed.

The pizza tour was awesome - the food stops were great but the highlight was the lovely guide and the entertaining and informative descriptions of Brooklyn. I will be ensuring everyone I know travelling from Australia does a slice of brooklyn tour.
