What a great tour. Paula the tour guide was entertaining and informative from the word go. great to have a guide who actually stays in the area and really wants to give you a good time. she really believes in her cousins business and she really wants to please. Great pick up point in Manhattan, great pizza's and plenty of it even the drinks were included. Will definitely recommend this tour to friends in fact I have already

The tour was great, Paula was a wealth of information. Our perception of Brooklyn changed, the pizza was great and totally different from each other. I had read and heard so much about Coney Island and its storied history, it was fun to walk the boardwalk and actually see. Paula mixed history and current events in her stories and used movie clips to provide a frame of reference. Great tour!

The "Pizza Tour of Brooklyn" was a great time - our guide Paula was REALLY entertaining and full of good information. Both pizza stops, at Grimaldi's and L&B Spumoni Gardens, were DELICIOUS and went smoothly getting the tour group in, seated, served and back out the door without ever feeling rushed. The tour made good stops for picture taking and strolling through various parts of Brooklyn. My friends and I definitely enjoyed the day and are looking forward to trying out some of the other tours offered by "A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours"!

When I first saw the tour on the Food Network it sounded like a lot of fun and thought it would be a nice fall activity for a few friends. To our delight the tour was even better than we anticipated! Paula, our guide, was the best - she was entertaining, outgoing, and very knowledgeable. She told us lots of stories and off-beat facts about all the neighborhoods we visited. And the movie clips she showed us were great; we got to see the streets we drove through as they looked in various films. I think my favorite was the opening scene to 'Saturday Night Fever'! What fun we had while we learned much about Brooklyn's history! And the Pizza!! What can I say about the Pizza? It was FABULOUS! Whoever chose the two restaurants really knows how pizza should taste! The thin crust pizza at Grimaldi's was delicious, and the Sicilian pizza at L & B's Spumoni Garden was amazing - the crust was lighter than any I've ever had. Our bus was split 50/50 on which restaurant we liked best. How diplomatic were we? Eddie, our driver, was wonderful. He guided us safely and comfortably throughout the trip - which was a true miracle if you've ever seen some of those narrow cobblestoned streets! And lastly, the website was simple to navigate and very organized; we were provided with an easy way to send e-mails to all in our party and were even given suggestions on where to park our car near the start of our trip in Manhattan. All in all this was an experience we will never forget and one we highly recommend to everyone. We will definitely be taking another one of their tours in the near future...maybe the Christmas lights tour in December!

Tony is the best tour guide I've experienced in NYC! He is funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The tour is excellent, I love hearing all the background of the places we visit...it's living history. Standing on the boardwalk at Coney Island was a memory mind blower and I relived visiting with my grandmother. And the pizza? I LOVE Grimaldi's and the sauce at L & B is very good. A fabulous way to experience the neighborhoods of Brooklyn!
