A Must Do Tour to escape Manhatten

Excellent guide who provided a wealth of information and her vibrant personality made the tour really fun. I found the price a little steep but lunch including pop was provided at the 2 pizza stops so taking that into consideration it wasn't so bad. Plus we were taken right to our tables with waiter service and no lining up. I liked the fact that we weren't on the bus the whole time with stops at the Brooklyn Bridge and Cooney Island. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to escape the hustle of Manhatten for a few hours. I would definately use this company again and am anxious to try their other tours next time I return to NYC. Hassle free pick up and drop off.Tour guide even took the extra time to make sure everyone knew their whereabouts when the tour ended and how to access the public transit. Excellent...very enjoyable afternoon.

i definitely recommend this tour to everybody...tourists and locals alike...i came with a small group (only 7)...and it is absolutely awesome...the smaller the group the better...our tour guide is paula and she is amazing...she definitely knows her stuff...very outgoing and she's super hot...the pizza places we've visited are soo great...particularly the L&B Spumoni Gardens...their sicilian slices are one of a kind and are absolutely delicious...they also serve homemade itlalian ice creams which are a great accompaniment to their pizza...great views of brooklyn and brooklyn neighborhoods are also a major plus on this tour...the van we used is very spacious...clean and it doesn't smell...the tour also provides video clips of famous films shot in brooklyn which adds a great touch to the whole brooklyn atmosphere...all in all, this is one awesome tour...!

I really had a great tour with Paula. She is really knowledgeable on the places in Brooklyn. She even took us out in DUMBO's Jacques Torres Chocolate, and Coney Island's Cyclone. The pizzas were amazing. They were amazing, that I bought a box (the deep dish Sicilian pizza). I want to do it again!! =) I'm recommending it to my friends who are visiting NYC. Amazing experience!! =)

I live in Ft. Greene and used this tour as an opportunity to see other parts of Brooklyn AND to show my parents around my borough during their summer visit. Paula was a fantastic tour guide and I experienced a lot of Brooklyn that I hadn't before. The pizza was fantastic, and I was able to avoid the lines at Grimaldi's, which is worth a large part of the ticket price! Speaking of ticket prices, if you factor in how much you'd spend on the generous portions of pizza and beverages that come with the tour, it's very reasonable. Recommended!

I enjoyed the Pizza tour it gave me an opportunity to see Brooklyn in a organized and interesting way. This past week was my fourth trip to NY and my first trip to Brooklyn along with my grandkids. I really enjoyed all of the history of Brooklyn and enjoying pizza in the famous pizza parlors. However I wish there had been more time allowed for Coney Island. It would of been so much fun to have the choice to ride a few rides and time to enjoy a Nathan hot dog. Other than that the tour is very well done. Perhaps extending the time in Coney Island will be considered. Paula our tour guide was funny and informative. I am so happy I took the tour because it added something new to my NY visit.. I love NY and I am looking forward to my next visit. I have recommended the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour to several of my friends and family members.

The Pizza Tour

I went on this tour with 3 other people. I guess you could call it a double date. We had a lot of fun. The tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. I would have like to go to atleast one more pizza place. but it was really cool that the information that we learned on the tour we also saw on this Pizza Wars show on the Travel Channel. This told me that the tour guide was very accurate.

Our Rabbi and his wife went on your tour about 5 years ago. When they heard we were travling to NYC they told us we had to go on your tour. The day after they told us how great you were, you apperared on NBC Today Show, and no tickets were available after that!. Thus, I got mine well in advance of our trip, and was surprised when our guide greeted us with saying that she saw we had tried to get tickets a while ago! Paula was really adorable, and told us that Tony, who was the original guide, had expanded, and the family was now guiding. She did a terrific job of sharing the history of the areas we went to. We really fell in love with her, and wish her luck in all of her future endeavors. My husband and I were very impressed with the professionalism the day was handled with, as well as the amount of historical information you shared. We never imagined the spots you would take us, including the street my husband's grandmother lived on. I have never been to Coney Island, but have heard about it forever, and that walk was amazing. My husband, now 72, was there with his father when he was 7. Learning about DUMBO, Red Hook, and the new park and board walk being built was quite an experience. We also really enjoyed the little film clips which added to the enjoyment of the various areas. Oh, and by the way, the pizza was really terrific too! It was lots of fun walking into the restaurant in front of the line of people who had been waiting to get in! Please tell Paula again what a great job she did. As soon as I send this review, I am sending your information to a friend who is coming into NYC next week, and will tell everyone about your tours. Please keep us informed as you continue to add others, and thank you for a really awesome day! Judy and Joe Zipper, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

My brother and I were born in Brooklyn, but were raised on Long Island, so for us it was fun to go back and reminisce about places we'd gone as young children, i.e. Shore Parkway, Coney Island etc. The pizza was exceptional too! Our guide Paula was a wealth of information and made the trip entertaining and fun. When it came time to sell the t-shirts, we felt Paula could have dispensed with the issue that her uncle couldn't give her a raise, but she could get a cut off the sale of the t-shirts in order to pay her recently incurred medical bill of $15,000. To my group that was a total turn off. We believed the t-shirts would sell themselves without the b.s. , and in fact didn't buy one because of the pitch. No one wants to hear about someone else's expenses, particularly when they just spent $75 pp for a tour. Other than that we all enjoyed the tour very much and would certainly recommend it.
