A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour

What a great time we had! Paula was excellent - full of both energy and information. We saw lots of the Brooklyn sights, and a side of Brooklyn I never knew existed. Mansions, parks, and nice neighborhoods are not what I expected at all. I will talk about Coney Island's "Shoot the Freak" for a long time to come (paintball shooting gallery). Pizza was excellent at both stops, especially going in right past the 100 or so people waiting in line. Really enjoyed the movie clips showing what we were seeing right out the windows. Well worth the price. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't know much about Brooklyn. Paul, Karen, and 'Bushwick'

I thought that the tour was a great way to learn about the significance of Brooklyn and also having a good treat. On the tour you go to 2 pizza restaurants, and they are the best pizza places by far. If you want to have the best pizza in the world, I would highly recommend that you join them on this tour

We had a wonderful time. Both types of pizza were delicious Especially the Sicilian pizza which was new to us. My 14 year old son loved it as well. Tony is an excellent guide. Although I now live in California I grew up in New York but I never had seen so much of Brooklyn and it was very interesting. I have recommended the tour to my relatives who live in the NY area. We plan to take one of the other tours given by Tony on our next trip. We also plan to return to Grimaldi's and make the trek to the L&M Spumoni Gardens as well when we are next in NY

From the moment Tony introduced himself to all the passengers, we knew we were in for a fun time which the wet weather during the day failed to dampen. His enthusiastic and humerous approach made all the difference and we discovered lots of the history of Brooklyn as well as many of the locations for film shoots and we learnt of many famous people who were born in the borough. The two pizzas to which we were treated were delicious and so different in their own way. We have always wanted to visit Coney Island so it was great to stop off there to see the rollercoaster. Brooklyn is an area of New York which the average tourist would probably not consider visiting but the tour route certainly brought it alive. Perhaps the only criticism that I would make is about the conditions on the coach. Because of the bad weather we had, the windows kept steaming up and the driver made them clear by not using any heat so most of the time we were all freezing and wet. When the heat was eventually turned on it was far too hot (Tony had to do a partial striptease to cope). The climate control was not used properly. Surely, warm dry air could have been pumped into the coach and not just cold air. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience and we made brief friendships with several of the other passengers when we stopped for the pizzas.

Our guide, Paula, was a pure delight...she has a wonderful personality and knows Brooklyn like the back of her hand. We appreciated all of the historical details she provided as well as her keen sense of humor. The pizza was delicious....definitely some of the best we've eaten and we come from a small town that's known for great pizza! We recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing the legendary Brooklyn...the movie scenes that play on the bus at exactly the same time we were in the filmed area are a real treat!

We loved this tour! Hi Paula! You were great! ( we are the upstate birthday girls) The tour was on 3/28/10 , and I highly recommend it. Pizza was great, coney island, mansion tour, movie tour and extra side trip to Jacques Torres chocolate was absolutely wonderful. (it should be added)! The little rain didnt spoil anything, and its well worth 4.5 hours out of your day. Makes we want to move to Brooklyn......!

As a certified touristic guide (in Belgium) I am always sceptical about what other guides are presenting. Here I was very enthousiastic about the Tour guide, the tour itself, and the accomodation provided. Whenever I get back to New York i certainly will be interested in other tours provided by this organisation.

Loved the tour, and happy that we had a beautiful day. I was also able to eat 7 pieces of pizza, oink, but fabulous. I would consider going on another one of their tours when I go back to New York. Yes, and Paula rocks!
