Great tour around Christmas time

This was a great tour. I had never been to brooklyn, despite living in new jersey. The tour guide was very enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable and had great 1st hand knowledge of the neighborhoods and sites. The tour was definitely worth it, an we'll probably end up doing the pizza tour offered by the same group. Great experience, can't recommend it enough for all ages.

The cannoli portion was a big disappointment. The expresso was weak and the cannoli tasteless. This place has seen better days.

We've done the Pizza tour too; they are both fantastic. Our guide Paula was knowledgable and enthusiastic. Enjoyed very much - the Parkers.

If you like Christmas lights, you'll love this tour! Comfortable bus; pleasant, knowledgable guides and great lights. Two stops where you can get out and see the lights up close and admire the homes and amazing decorating, in addtion to riding around the neighborhood to see lights/decorations. Had a great time and look forward to going again.

Our tour guides were excellent. The lights were wonderful. The bus was spotless and the driver very capable. It was one of the highlights of our trip to New York. I would highly recommend this tour.

Nice lights, bad tour

The lights were rather nice, however the tour guide was rather annoying, mostly stating the obvious. Good canoli, but the cappucini was essentially just lukewarm milk. If I could go back, I would have just taken the R train and walked around with a self-guided walking tour.

As a Very Particular customer who works in the Arts, I read several reviews before signing up for this tour. I took along a friend and was hoping it would be as delightful as it sounded. It was! The gentleman and young woman who hosted were absolutely lovely, really kind and sweet and unassuming. Complete gems. They were 100% all about you enjoying the evening, making it great for you, and they never tried to "pitch" anything. The large tourbus was modern, comfortable and clean(I never visited the restroom, so can't speak for it, but its nice to know they have one), fitting about 60 people, two seats on either side of the aisle(the bus filled quickly, so if you have any hope of sitting with your party, you'd better get there early). I was lucky enough to sit in the VERY front seat--looking directly out front through huge, gorgeous clear windows, the very best seat in the house!--but I have to say that the moderately tinted windows everywhere else on the bus did take a bit of shine off the lights as you drove by. There would be no changing that. But still the lights were so much fun to see; we got out just enough; and the ride was smooth as silk, the bus cozy and warm. It went by so fast, and was VERY well organized. The Mona Lisa cafe was darling but my cappuccino was terrible, as tasteless as warm water--the obvious result of throwing 60 out in short-order--the young staff there were short on customer service skills but did agree to remake mine when I specifically asked. There was also a restroom at the cafe(only one stall each sex). Anyway I had a great time and would do it again. Left me with sweet dreams.

We so enjoyed the lights and lucious cannoli. The tour guide was friendly and relaxed and fun. Comfortable bus and lots of time out of bus to look around,. The lights of Manhattan may be awesome but these are 'outta this world!'
