Christmas Lights & Cannoli Tour

Well organised, friendly crew. The lights are amazing and well worth a look. There is an intro video/documentary on the journey that sets the scene well and on the way back all the Christmas favourites to sing along to (singing optional!)

This tour was the best of several Christmas lights tours my family has done. The tour director, Tony Muia, was easily the best tour guide I have ever had the pleasure of taking a tour with, and I've done little tours all round the world. He was so knowledgeable and personable, I even remember his name! The Places in Brooklyn he took us to to see the lights were amazing. I have never seen homes decorated with as much enthusiasm and next level productions anywhere! The sense of community was astounding, as Mr. Muia described how the lights were not only an aesthetic monument of beauty but also an almost tangible sense of community. I don't know if another tour guide could have conveyed that same feeling in as moving a way as Mr. Muia did. I will be coming back to take any tour he gives!

This tour was very enjoyable and as always Tony is on point with historical information about the neighborhood. Keep an eye on the weather, snow would be nice but rain could be a problem. This tour will help put you in the season's spirit.

This tour really got us in the Christmas spirit. It's an event the whole family would enjoy. My parents are 80 years old and they had a great time. Tony and his crew make it a memorable event. It inspired us to start decorating the moment we got back home to California. Thanks, Tony! We'll be back next Spring for the Slice of Brooklyn pizza tour.

The Christmas Lights tour did not disappoint. We took the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour two years ago and enjoyed it so much, we booked this one. Once again, Tony showed his amazing knowledge of his beloved Brooklyn. Who knew there were so many beautiful, lavish neighborhoods in the county that usually gets a bad rap! Without giving any of the fun away, one neighborhood was so elegantly decorated it took your breath away. The other neighborhood on the tour, while beautfully decorated also had it's bit of Christmas lights 'tackiness', which just made it more enjoyable being able to have a good laugh. Tony interacts with each and every member of the group and is so personable, only a scrooge would not have a great time. If you aren't in the Christmas spirit when you board the bus, you certainly will be when you step off. Kudos, Tony, for a job well done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The lights are spectacular and Tony provides a warm, funny commentary. The tour has a very relaxed feel to it and it is a real bonding experience. If you get the chance, it's worth every penny!

We enjoyed lights in different areas, did get off the bus to walk in the areas, got a nice ride through Brooklyn which my husband wanted to get a feel for and did, and got some good snacks at a really Italian bakery. Both of us were glad we took the tour instead of going by ourselves - got to see alot more and enjoy it more. My only thought on improvement was to drive one direction (the return trip would be best) over the Brooklyn Bridge.

The lights we saw were truly excellent, as over-the-top as I anticipated. As Greeks, we would have appreciated a stop at the Greek's home, but we had a blast. The Christmas music on the bus was an excellent touch also. They were songs that actually haven't been played to death over the years!
