I'll keep it short and to the point. This is the best Pizza Tour or Any Tour I've ever been on, and I've been on plenty of tours. Tony and Danny give you a view of Brooklyn you've never seen and can only see with them along with having pizza at the best pizza in NYC. This is a "Must Do" when visiting the City of New York. Keep up the Great Work, Tony...................... Mike McCoy

I am a native New Yorker and live in Brooklyn. This tour has opened my eyes to see Brooklyn in a whole different light. Tony, our tour guide was a delight. He kept us entertained continuously and there was never a dull moment. He did his research and kept us well informed of all the different points of interest that we stopped at. The snipets of video was well put together and kept us entertained. You could tell that he loved what he was doing. The day we went was a sweltering 90+ day. Tony's bus was new, cleaned, air-conditioned and extremely comfortable. We never felt the heat. There were only a few stops that required us to do a bit of walking and it was no big deal. I'm not a pizza lover, but I have to say that Grimaldi's take the cake for Neopolitan-style pizza and LB Spumoni Gardens Sicilian-style pizza was absolutely delicious. But you have to try the spumoni for dessert to top off the meal. My husband loved the tour so much that we are planning to book the "Christmas LIghts" tour and "Wise-Guy" tour coming up in September. This was my first New York tour and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It didn't feel like 4-1/2 hours because it was so enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants a first hand experience of Brooklyn. I got this tour as a birthday gift and I must say it was one of the best gifts I received. What a great idea! For $75 you get a tour plus a meal, what a great bargain. I'd much preferred this to a Broadway play which could range in the $100+. Keep up the good work, Tony!

Absolutely brilliant!

Our trip to New York was a bit of a family get together and we thought this might be a fun thing to do and it really, really was. Some of us had been to NY before and others had never been but we all enjoyed it equally, Tony was a fantastic guide and he really made the tour for us. We loved the 'pimped' tour bus and the pizza was delicious... plus Tony had obviously put a lot of time into researching the facts and getting the film clips just right which was lovely. Overall I'd say if you're looking at the information for this tour and thinking 'that looks pretty cool' then just book it you'll have a great time!

This trip was the highlight of our stay in New York. We did all of the touristy things that are expected and then some, but the Pizza Tour was the most original and entertaining of all. Tony obviously has done his research about Brooklyn and has an enthusiasm for the area that is obviously genuine. I would take this trip again, when I next visit. Most recommended !!!

Great introduction to Brooklyn

I've been up to NYC many times, but had never ventured beyond Manhattan. I've been curious about the other boroughs, but never really knew where to go. After seeing Brooklyn through the eyes of Tony, our wonderful guide, I'll probably go back and explore some more on my own, if for no other reason than the pizza. The pizza places we stopped at were fantastic. I particularly liked the Sicilian pizza (the 2nd stop - so don't eat too much at the first!). I highly recommend this tour as a great way to get introduced to another part of the city and to eat some great pizza!

Hugely entertaining - especially Tonys' Uncle!

Our day started with subway delays and we arrived barely on time but Tony waited for everyone and still gave the full tour. That set the tone - nothing was too much trouble - although Uncle (Sal ??) tested his professional patience to the limit with the non-stop repartee - - - you had to be there ! There must be places that do Pizza as well as we experienced, but Brooklyn was the place for us to achieve another level of appreciation. I even volunteered to take on the task of hoovering up the extras provided through one guest not turning up. Note that the queue at Grimaldis was 100m long when we came out after eating! Stunning riverside locations, Jet age transport; well presented and interesting facts and anecdotes backed up from time to time with film clips etc (on drop down screens) - The best of the tours we tried during our week in NYC and and vindicated my instinct to ignore those whe said "Brooklyn? Fuhgedabaadit!" - (Sp?).

We had a great time on The Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour. Tony is very enthusiastic and informative during the whole tour. Highlght to me was stopping in the park by the Brooklyn Bridge and also visiting Coney Island. Enjoyed both pizza stops and will let it up to future tour takers to decide which pizza is the best in Brooklyn! I would definitely recommend this tour. It not only takes you through areas of Brooklyn that you would probably not see on your own, but the little bits of information that Tony gives along the way, like what movies were filmed there and the added plus that he shows the movie clips makes the tour even more fun. Would loved to have taken a ride on the Cyclone in Coney Island. Maybe next trip!

WOW!!! What a FUN way to get acquainted with a borough that we previosly knew nothing about! I have been travelling to NYC for over 20 years and had not seen Coney Island, and I finally feel like I truly KNOW New York now! Oh, and the pizza???? AWESOME!!!! Tony has definitely picked out the best two pizza places, and they were both DELISH! Tony himself has truly found his calling...he is an AWESOME tour guide, totally a pleasure to listen to and a genuinely NICE guy! We can't wait for the Wise Guys tour! Whatcha gonna feed us on THAT one??? ;-) Thanks for a TERRIFIC addition to a great NYC trip!!! I LOVE that I now know a little about Brooklyn, and I look forward to visiting there again! Tony and his tour ranks right up at the top of one of our favorite days in NYC. (and Brooklyn) This guy is amazing -what knowledge, energy, enthusiasm! It feels like visiting an old friend and having him want to make your day very special. And he did! He talks for the entire tour - hardly taking a breath- amazing! As I said - don't miss it!

Tony Muia ' MR. BROOKLYN'
Fri, May 30, 08   11:00 AM lcrandolph Female 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
From beginning to end this tour was wonderful! It was relaxed, not rushed , and filled with wonderful stories, information and historical facts. Tony's 'real deal' knowledge and personality are right on. Not only did we get to eat and savor great pizza and spumoni, we saw Brooklyn through the eyes of Tony, a native, whose love of this area is infectious. His capacity for fun and adventure knew no bounds when he rode the 'Cyclone' at Coney Island with others on the tour. We recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get away from the tourist trappings of NYC (not that there's anything wrong with that). He is developing other tours. Can't wait to join him for whatever tours he offers in the future. Tony Muia is the real deal and don't you 'forgetta about it'!

What a great way to spend Memorial Day. Had a fantastic time with my mother, brother and sister-in-law, who were in town from North Carolina and Indianapolis. Our guide Tony was wonderful, knowledgeable and entertaining and the pizza was amazing. I'd recommend to New Yorkers and visitors alike!

My husband and I enjoyed this tour so much two years ago that we took it again this week with 4 of our family members! Tony is a great tour leader - well-organized and full of cute stories and information, and he has a great personality which just fits a visit to Brooklyn to enjoy great pizza and to see and learn about some interesting sites there. The trip also gives you some amazing views of Manhatten from the Brooklyn side, as well as the Brooklyn and Manhatten bridges, and the trip to Coney Island is also a treat. I would highly recommend this tour!

In NY? You MUST take the A Slice of Brooklyn Tour
Sun, May 25, 08   11:00 AM kevjeffers Male 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
My parents decided to go to New York to celebrate their 25th anniversary and they couldn't have been happier. They took one of the Double Decker tours through the city and they also took the A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour and they say this is the best tour they've ever been on by far. The host Tony was excellent and really knows Brooklyn. I even e-mailed Tony and asked him if he could wish my parents a Happy 25th anniversary. Not only did I get quick responses from Tony, but my parents were totally caught off guard when Tony wished them a Happy 25th anniversary. Thanks again Tony! My parents enjoyed the pizza as well. Said both places were excellent. And they just loved Coney Island. So I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting New York City. I know when I go back, I'll definitely be taking the tour. My parents enjoyed it and had a great time. Great host, great pizza, great tour. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The food was good. The tour entertaining and informational. Great guide and host, enthusiastic and attentive to participants. A passionate promoter of Brooklyn/NYC. We are ready to go back and hit more sights.
