A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

Tony is the best tour guide I've experienced in NYC! He is funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The tour is excellent, I love hearing all the background of the places we visit...it's living history. Standing on the boardwalk at Coney Island was a memory mind blower and I relived visiting with my grandmother. And the pizza? I LOVE Grimaldi's and the sauce at L & B is very good. A fabulous way to experience the neighborhoods of Brooklyn!

My wife and I do not recall how we found this tour. To say the least it was Deliciously Informative. Paula, what a doll! She has all the spark a good little Italian/Jewish mix needs. She was really fun and made the tour really fun. Her schtick while very informative had great humor and stories. Because of this tour we definitely will take one of the other tours when again in the city ; although we may just decide to do the Pizza Tour again....Grimaldi's and L&B were terrific in their own right--Neopolatin or Scilian--both fabulous. The 4.5hours flew by and the $$ very reasonable and fair. A definite to do!

This tour was awesome! The best pizza I have ever ate in my life! Our tour guide Paula did a super good job in teaching us all about Brooklyn and making us laugh. We got to see Coney Island, a lot of different neighborhoods and famous movie locations. I recommend this tour to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can you say Yum!!!!!

As displaced Brooklynites for the past 50 years, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable of the history of the borough, and seemed to enjoy interacting with the people on the tour. Since I came from the Bensonhurst neighborhood of Brooklyn, I was especially moved when we took part of the same route I took in my freshman year to Lafayette High School. It was exciting to see my high school again after 50 years. The Pizza at Grimaldi's was light, flavorful, and incredible. Although I had eaten spumoni at L & B Spumoni Gardens 50 years ago, I had never eaten their pizza before. It was also incredible. The short visit to Coney Island was bittersweet. I enjoyed seeing the Cyclone and the Parachute Drop, but was sad that Washington Baths and Steeplechase were gone. Likewise, the trip through Brighton Beach and Flatbush brought back wonderful memories of my youth. In all, I highly recommend this tour to Brooklynites, displaced Brooklynites, and tourists from anywhere who would like to have a taste of Brooklyn. It was a great way to spend 4.5 hours in the borough.

Grimaldi's is the Best Pizza ever. L&B is the Best Pizza ever. You get to eat both in the SAME DAY ! This tour is Da Bomb ! Did I mention our tour guide Paula B? She's Da Bomb ! And, Edwin.... nobody goes anywhere without Edwin. He's Da King of King's County. Whadda tour ! Also, thanks to Tony, Uncle Vinnie and Uncle Louie for talking Paula into doing this gig. Recommend this tour? If King Kong had half a brain he'd have climbed onto this tour and NOT the Empire State Building. From this tour's vantage point you can see all of Brooklyn, some of Jersey and even a slice (!) of Queens. Put this tour on your Bucket List and skip the Broadway show.

Paula was an excellent hostess on the pizza tour. She had alot of interesting information and was very passionate about Brooklyn and pizza. It was alot of fun and I'd do it again!

Second time on tour and we had another great time, Paula proved to be as interesting and funny as her cousin Tony. Great mix of pizza, sights and chat for all ages to enjoy!!

I never thought that a tour of Brooklyn could be enlightening and fun at the same time. I will definitely do it again. Went with my sister this time but will give this as a gift for my husband and will join him as well.

I liked the movie trivia history, loved the pizza, great views of Manhattan....

We spent four days in NY. The highlight of our trip was the Slice of Brooklyn tour! Tony was great, the pizza was the best, the price was right, nothing not to like!! We learned so much and we all commented how organized the tour was. We will recommend it to all our friends. Thanks for a great day and making our NY stay so much fun. I attended the A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour with my mom while we were in NY (from San Diego) and this was definitely a highlight of our trip. It was very interesting to hear about the history of Brooklyn, see the landmarks, and visit the Pizza establishments. Our tour guide was awesome, not only did she know the history of Brooklyn but she was very friendly and helpful with my mother who couldn't get around to easily. I would definitely recommend this tour to anybody visiting NY, it was a great way to spend the day and the other tourists we met on the trip were all great. Again, this was the highlight of our NY vacation and I would recommend this tour to everybody.

We have often visited Manhattan, but have never ventured out into the boroughs. I went on the tour with my wife and adult daughter, who is living in Manhattan for the summer. The tour was the highlight of our week long trip. Paula was an enthusiastic booster of Brooklyn and we felt welcomed into her world. The pizza stops alone are worth the price of the tour. It was nice to have a modern, air-conditioned bus during the middle of a heat wave. Paula made us feel welcome and gave us lots of useful and interesting information about Brooklyn. We saw things we would never have seen on our own. I would definitely recommend this tour.
