An excellent tour, our guide - Paula was very enthusiatic and gave us a good history tour of Brooklyn. The food was great and a great way to see the Brooklyn sights!!! We traveled from California to NYC 3 yrs ago and booked the pizza tour, but for unforeseen reasons we were unable to take the tour. On our trip to NYC this Thanksgiving we rebooked the tour. Let me tell you it was well worth the 3 yr wait! Our tour guide Paula was the best she was very upbeat and friendly & she knows her history of Brooklyn very well......This tour was well worth the money, the pizza seemed like just an added bonus. This is a tour we would take again!

A great way to see Brooklyn, get a little bit of the history and taste the delicious local pizza. A bonus was not having to line up forever outside Garibaldi's - it was wonderful walking straight in past the queue.

One of the best tours we have ever done, if you want to see the real New York then this is the tour for you, great for all ages you get to see some of the best kept secrets of the city and Brooklyn. Paula our tour guide was absolutely superb and she gave plenty of insight into the area and the pizzas are a taste of heaven!! We're coming back to New York in a few years from England and this will be top of the list to do again it was that good, worth every penny you won't be dissappointed!! 5 out of 5!!

We had a great time. Would recommend this if you've never been to this area before. We had pizza near Times Square a couple of days before, just to compare, and it was definately better at the two places we went to on this tour. Tony was cool & had a lot of info to share. Got great shots of the Brooklyn Bridge, visited neighborhoods I had no idea existed & took a stroll down Coney Island.

My friend and I did the pizza tour and LOVED it! The pizza was fantastic and I have been craving it ever since! Paula - our tour guide - absoutely made the tour the great event it was, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who just wants to get a great tour of Brooklyn - it's not just about the pizza!

Just home from 6 nights in New York and took the Slice of Brooklyn tour while there. I cant recommend this tour highly enough. I have beeen to N.Y. with my husband several times before and had even been to Brooklyn before but nothing like this! From the moment we met Tony in wonderful New York sunshine we were exposed to his exceptional local knowledge of the area and his great love of his home town of Brooklyn was highly contagious! All the highlights of the borough are covered in this tour and the area's significant place in film history is effectively captured in the film clips shown as you pass the various sites where they were shot. You really feel like you are a part of the action! Of course the pizza was good also but it was Tony himself that was the star of the show for us. Paula was so friendly. From the moment we met her I knew it was going to be a good day. She shared so much knowledge and had a great personality. The whole day was so well organised, bus was immaculant and clean and nothing was a problem. Had plenty of time at the 2 restaurants and more than enough to eat. A great way to seel Brooklyn and what better way to do it than eating pizza in a friendly enviroment. will be reccomending this tour to all of my friends so worth the money jump on board you will not be dissapointed.

Our tour was headed up by Paula, Tony's cousin. She is very energetic and full of history and fun movie facts . Not bad on the eyes for you fellas, either. ;) Everything she said about the pizza proved to be true - melts in your mouth - seriously the BEST! We had a great time and really enjoyed our first slice of Brooklyn. We would recommend the tour to NY natives and tourists alike!

I read about the tour in Fromer's guide, but was categorised immediately as having heard about the tour on a travel show. Did not bode well. The tour was not about pizza but about Brooklyn. There were statements about the pizza being the best in the world. A quick trip to Italy will prove otherwise. The host was informative and there was a real push to show Brooklyn. Nice enough but this was a pizza tour and there were only two pizza places to experience the "pies". The tour was typical of the perception that America has the best - best food (see the rest of the world and reality will sink in), best bridge (again see the rest of world). So be weary of the tendency in a typical American way to assume that the pizza's in Brooklyn are the best and that Brooklyn is the best borough and have a laugh at the plastic palm tree sitting all alone on Coney Island beach.

This is a wonderful tour. Great pizza, excellent tour guide a fantastic day out.

What a fantastic tour! We had a great time seeing Brooklyn, eating pizza and especially with Paula - the amazing tour guide. Everyone should get to see Brooklyn this way.

I saw this tour on 'Getaway' and assumed we would only be seeing the inside of 2 pizza shops. What an understatement! I loved driving through Brooklyn and seeing where many movies were filmed. Through the eyes of Paula, our guide, we saw the Brooklyn that she grew up in and loved. It is fabulous to see a family working together to share the good and bad of their beloved neighbourhood. I look forward to my next trip to New York and another Slice Of Brooklyn experience.

the three of us had such an amazing time on the Slice of Brooklyn tour. As incredible as the sites that we saw, and the pizza that we tasted, it was actually bested by the fact that we had such an incredible and entertaining tour leader. Paula was enthusiastic, energetic, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable about all the aspects of the tour. I recommend her and the company to any and all!! looking forward to our next tour with them!

Definitly worth a recommendation, the tour surprised me pretty much. Brooklyn was really different to what I had expected. The guide was very knowledgable and made a great fun out of it in a pretty relaxed athmosphere. The Pizzerias visited were very nice.
