A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

Paula was FANTASTIC, she made us fall in love with Brooklyn...as an Italian citizen, I was not too keen on both pizzas, you should take your customers to the new pizza places in Williamsburg, for instance, like Forcella. Both Grimaldi and even more L&B do feature Italian-American cuisine, far away from the real thing.....and L&B is a really depressing place, I would NEVER go back there, I don't care about its history...sorry about that!!! I enjoyed very much visiting Dumbo and would have liked to have brunch there, think about it for one of your tours!

The tour guide was very enthusiastic! Something I would never do without a tour. I am interested in the Christmas lights tour also.

Loved the tour! Paula is very knowledgable and knows Brooklyn inside and out! Way better than a Manhattan tour! The TV screens in the bus showing movie clips is a very nice touch! Well worth the money! This Chicagoan would go on this tour again in a NEW YORK MINUTE!

Amazing tour of not only the best pizza but also Brooklyn itself. Had so much fun and Paula was an amazing tour guide. Learnt a lot about Brooklyn and enjoyed every minute of it !!! A must do tour for everyone, including the kids! :)

Our family of 4, with two pre-teen boys enjoyed the recent pizza tour. Getting there, we got a bit lost, but the ticket had a number to call if there were any problems. I called, and spoke with Tony; he was terrific. He very patiently explained the directions and was professional and polite. Our actual guide was Paula, who went out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and included (we were a rather large group). We enjoyed the two types of pizzas, as well as the tour of Brooklyn. The stop at Coney Island capped off a lovely afternoon. EXCELLENT!!!

Paula, our tour guide was incredible. She was personable, helpful, knowlegeable and thoroughly entertaining. The pizza was phenominal and we felt like true Brooklyn-ites by the time the tour concluded. Which was much too fast, the time flew by. We were in New York for one week including attending a Broadway show and withour question, this was the highlight of our entire trip. Don't think about it...go!!

My wife and I read about this event in the NY Times and immediately wanted to give it a whirl. We were born and raised in Brooklyn, now living in South Jersey). We asked my brother and his wife (originally from the Bronx, but lived in Brooklyn when she got married) to join us. It was a trip down "memory lane," visiting old neighborhoods we were familiar with and also seeing how the borough has developed and changed since we moved away in the 60's. Our guide, Paula, was a bundle of energy and information. She made the 4-hour excursion even more fun than we anticipated. Driving around some of the streets in Brooklyn is a challenge for the faint of heart, so kudos also go to the bus driver who has amazing navigating skills. Everything about this event is highly rated by our group of four.

We had two families including 5 teenage children attend the tour. We all agree this was a highlight of our time not just in New York but in the USA. Paula the tour guide really knew her history of the area and was able to deliver it in a fun and interesting way. The food was good and a glass of wine went down well - would definitely do more of their tours if I return to New York.

The tour provide a lot of insight into the history of Brooklyn and the surrounding area. Our guide - Paula was extremely entertaining. She was very knowledgeable about the NY area and her emphasis on Brooklyn showed passion for her home town. The 2 pizza stops were drastically different from one another. Both were excellent tasting. But what really made the whole day special was the personal care Paula should toward the group. She walked around and talked with everyone during the stops. Making everyone feel special. My party had 2 individuals that were celebrating their Birthday, Paula presented them with ice cream sundaes and we all sang Happy Birthday. No one asked Paula to do anything special. She took it upon herself make the Birthday Girls feel special. Thanks for a great time. Will recommend this tour to anyone coming to NY and wants to experience a great time.

We had a great time on the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour. Our guide, Paula, was very informative while having an authentic personality that only a true Brooklynite can possess. She was funny and attentive to everybody's needs even though the bus was full. The tour itself is unique. The use of film clips while lining up the bus to the same location as the clips was a great idea. We especially liked the Saturday Night Fever clips. And then there was the pizza. Both were delicious. One of us liked Grimaldi's better and the other L&B's but we bothed agreed that it was close. There was enough pizza to have more than the 2 slices per person advertised. It was especially satisfying to see them both on a travel channel's best pizza show when we returned home. The tour was top notch all the way around and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get a feel for what Brooklyn is all about.

I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the best tours we took during our vacation to New York City. It was great for adults and for the kids. I wouldn't miss this one!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour. The convenience of the bus was great. Our Guide was very entertaining and lots of fun. Totally enjoyed the pizza! The Sicillian was the best! Would highly reccomend for those that want to know more about Brooklyn, have a sense of humor and enjoy a fun time, and love pizza!
