A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

Tony was great, tour was great, very imformative,and very well organised and kept to time limit. I would recommend NOT eating breakfast before this tour, as the pizzas are delicious and are very very filling. I did not realise Brooklyn was this big and would love to go back and explore more on next trip to NY. Tour gave a great overview of the area. Great video on the bus also. Tony knows his stuff!!

What can I say - my son aged 17 and I NEVER take tours - we independently travel all over and do our own thing, but I wanted to go and see Brooklyn and this looked interesting so we gave it a go. From the start, speaking on the phone with Tony, I just knew this was the right decision. He was amazing when advising me on the booking and was even better as a tour guide. This tour was fantastic - a true Brooklynite who is proud of his roots and his neighborhoods. This tour was personal, informative on every level, interesting and we saw just about everything there was to see. The highlights??? don't know where to start - it went from one to another for 4 hours. The pizza was great at each location, the stories about famous and infamous residents of Brooklyn, TV and film locations, fabulous neighborhoods giving a whole new perspective on the borough and Coney Island walking on the boardwalk. A truly great way to spend 4 hours and Tony - you were the best tour guide ever - Sorry I thought pizza was from Chicago! My advice to anyone who wants to see the real Brooklyn - BOOK THIS TOUR - do not go to the big companies who herd you around like cattle - get personal and see Brooklyn through the eyes of someone who knows the place and the people, you will not be disappointed. My 12yr old daughter and I had a great time, and had an opportunity to spend quality time building memories for her. The bus was immaculate clean, and the tour guides were warm, friendly and very knowledgeable of the sites. I would definitely recommend it perfect way to enjoy the holidays!

This was by far the best tour I have ever taken. I highly recommend taking the Christmas Lighs and Cannoli Tour. The pickup was at the exact place specified. Upon entering the bus, it was clean, modern and comfortable. The host and hostess greeted us very cheerfully. On the way to Brooklyn, we watched clips of old Christmas movies which really got you into the holiday spirit...and I went AFTER Christmas! The host and hostess were on their anniversary and took the time to take photos of my friends and I outside of the homes. I am from Birmingham, Alabama and they had a son who had Tommy John Surgery in Birmingham, so it was like meeting old friends. They were friendly beyond words and they were this way to EVERYONE on the tour! The homes in Brooklyn are decorated like no other homes you will ever see. They are so gawdy that they are pretty! They took the time to stop and allow you to exit the bus to walk the streets and take up close pictures. I think my next year's Christmas card is going to be one of my best friend and I sitting on the stairs of a Brooklyn home (the host took of course). On the return ride home, we watched a few more clips of movies from Christmas's long ago. Perfect! After taking this tour, I plan to check into their other tours. It was simply fantastic and the best value for my money I spent during my eight day tour of NYC! Brooklyn is the underestimated gem of New York!

You almost don't want to see the highlights on the dvd so you will be surprised but the lights are amazing and you can't imagine the sights you will see. I highly recommend this tour and we would definately do it again.

but everything felt a bit lackluster. Would have liked to have had Tony as our guide. Cannot say we got value for the price. :-(

The tour was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to New York this Christmas! I was totally amazed by the magic of the Christmas lights! Don't miss the opportunity to get this special insight into US Christmas traditions!!

The Christmas Lights and Cannoli tour was a fun way to spend an evening. Even though we were unable to do the cappuccino and cannoli part of the tour due to unforseen circumstances, it was a great evening out. When we went, it was raining fairly hard and our hosts made the best of it. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city for the first time.

i loved seeing all the spectacular Brooklyn lights and jack agrees you can really see the personality of the city through the lights it presents just like Brooklines personality is shy but sweet since we use such little lights but some much decoration you can see in Brooklyn people are not afraid to go big and from looking at the gorgeous lights i can say it pays off the tour was wonderful thank you PS. lights can be decoration but decoration can also hold other things. I remember everything that happened and the welcoming candy canes was a big hit. I think that was a great way o welcoming people and to attract people. I will for sure tell my friends that are in New Jersey the same time as me over Winter Break. It was fantastic that people set up houses with lights and that you guys communicate every year. It was also very entertaining. I couldn't look down or else I would miss a beautiful house! The downside to the tour was really that we couldn't go to the place and get coffee and the other stuff. Now it turned out great because we got a refund and there was an excuse........ There was a death in the family. I totally understand though. Tour is called a slice of Brooklyn, but it really is much more of a cultural informative tour than it is about pizza. Where the two stops offs for pizza are fantastic, I personally enjoyed the history and character of the borough.

We really enjoyed the Tour. We were two couples in NYC for a couple of days and this was a highlight. It was so fun to see the houses and the guide had some really interesting information related not only to the lights, but also the history of the area. We'd highly recommend!

This was a brilliant trip - we're not usally an organised trip sort of family but can only say this was the best trip we have ever taken! The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly and really obviously loved shoing their home turf to visitors. We saw so much that we would never have seen ourselves in such a short amount of time and felt incredibly safe and looked after whilst doing so. Highly recommended!

Great tour of Brooklyn. Just going to Grimaldi's without the waiting in line was worth it.
