WHAT A BLAST!

This tour is worth every penny. Not only is the pizza phenominal but Tony is incredibly knowledgable about Brooklyn and has a great sense of humor to boot! I grew up in the NY metropolitan area but never spent any time in Brooklyn and boy did I come away with a great sense of its history and great stories to tell friends. Tony's use of film clips is just terrific (there is a movie screen right above you like in an airplane)...you drive by what you just saw in a movie! It really makes everything come alive! Walking down the boardwalk in Cooney Island was wonderful! This tour is great for all ages, the pizza is fantastic, doesn't require much walking and is all around a great three and 1/2 hours!

Great Pizza/Great Tour

This tour is thoughtfully put together by Tony and he acts as a perfect guide. He was always looking out for all of us, being sure to keep everyone within earshot , The video clips that he has organized about the area you are seeing is perfectly done. The 2 different styles of pizza are so distinct (and delicious) that they are sure to please all palates. The sightseeing stops are wonderful photo ops and just getting the history of the borough is terrific. My favorite stop was at Coney Island having heard so much about it from my grandmother and never having visited myself. I could just picture her on the beach! We are looking forward to joining Tony on one of his new, upcoming tours! You will not regret doing the Brooklyn Pizza Tour - it's worth every penny.

Best Tour of NY

The pizza was great but the tour was even better. Tony did a great job of showing and explaining what Brooklyn is all about. This was a thoroughly entertaining 41/2 hours.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. We ate two very different kinds of pizza -- and despite the differences, both were delicious. Our guide, Tony, was very knowledgeable and very outgoing. Eventhough we had been to NYC before, we had never visited Brooklyn. It was very interesting to see a different part of the city. We are very glad we finally got to Brooklyn.

Great Way to See Brooklyn

The pizza was wonderful, but the insight into Brooklyn was equally as good. The views of Manhattan from under the Manhattan Bridge were spectacular. And the movie clips were an added bonus. This is a well planned and well paced tour. I've been to Brooklyn many times, but this tour covered areas, I never visited before. I'd recommend this tour to any New Yorker, especially if they love pizza.

This has to be a one of a kind tour! Tony is very accommodating and eager to please. The pizza is great and if you are a movie buff, that is a plus. Tony has also put together a terrific presentation of combining movies and actual real locations together, along with a great history lesson of Brooklyn. An enjoyable day !

Four of us, ages 59-66, had a wonderful time on this tour. We saw a lot of Brooklyn and very much enjoyed the commentary provided by Tony. We particualrly enjoyed going to areas where famous movies were filmed. The pizza itself was good though we all thought we've had better NY pizza in the past. We highly recommend the tour to anyone who wants to know the history of the city.

Great tour. Great Pizza. We've been telling all our friends to put the Slice of Brooklyn tour on their "A" list of things to do when in NYC. Entertaining, Informative, and Filling.

This is a FABULOUS tour that nobody should miss. It was extra special to me since my parents were born and bred in Brooklyn and seeing where they grew up, dated, and the streets where they walked had a very special meaning to me. Tony was a gracious, warm, witty, and wonderful guide. If there is something about the borough that he doesn't know, I don't know what it could be. The pizza was divine (the best I've ever had), the sights were awesome (Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO park, streets were many a movie was filmed, Coney Island boardwalk), etc. etc. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is don't miss this tour when in NYC. It's very, very special.

Outstanding!

Tony gave an amazing tour of Brooklyn, combining Brooklyn's role in history, the arts, sports and, of course pizza! Among the most creative aspects of the tour was Tony's use of the DVD to show movie segments each of which took place in the exact spot we were at the moment the segment was shown. Clearly, the creation of this tour was a labor of love with incredible attention to detail. My husband was skeptical about the tour as he feared it would be just about pizza, in the end he enjoyed it immensely. We recommend renaming the tour - something like "Brooklyn with a slice... " Good luck with future tour development and continued success with this one. Mary Jo & Marc Cutler

The joy of Christmas is well demonstrated with Love and Happiness. The time taken by these family can only say one thing, They are united as a family. I am going to recomend it to my family and friends. It was our first time and not the last. Thank you Brooklyn for the pleasure of enjoying your lights.

Great Way to See Brooklyn

My wife saw this tour on the Today Show several months ago. We live in Texas. She was born in Brooklyn and wanted to go on the tour. We signed up and included her brother and sister in law from Queens. The tour far exceeded any expectations. The tour guide was fantastic! We will highly recommend t his tour to anyone we know going to NYC. As an aside, I know I am probably the only one with this opinion, however, the thick crust pizza was all but inedible. I would readily take this tour again, only opting for the ice cream instead of the past pizza. Rowland Greenwade

Fabulous Tour

The Christmas Lights tour did not disappoint. We took the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour two years ago and enjoyed it so much, we booked this one. Once again, Tony showed his amazing knowledge of his beloved Brooklyn. Who knew there were so many beautiful, lavish neighborhoods in the county that usually gets a bad rap! Without giving any of the fun away, one neighborhood was so elegantly decorated it took your breath away. The other neighborhood on the tour, while beautfully decorated also had it's bit of Christmas lights 'tackiness', which just made it more enjoyable being able to have a good laugh. Tony interacts with each and every member of the group and is so personable, only a scrooge would not have a great time. If you aren't in the Christmas spirit when you board the bus, you certainly will be when you step off. Kudos, Tony, for a job well done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
