A MUST for anyone who loves Christmas!!

We did the Christmas Lights tour on December 4th 2011 . When I initially booked it I was a little worried not many houses would have their lights up but how wrong was I! Our tour guide was Paula and she was absolutely fantastic, she was really welcoming and had a great knowledge of the places we were to visit and gave us some funny facts about the people and places, they also showed some videos on the way to Brooklyn which featured the lady that first started the Dyker Heights lights tradition. The tour bus was very clean and had an on board bathroom which was good for the kids that were on the tour! We visted Bay Ridge first and then went on to Dyker Heights. At both places we got off the coach and were given plenty of time to walk around and take lots of pictures. Paula and her friend who was helping for evening both walked around with us and answered any questions we had. After we had seen the lights we drove to Mona Lisa for a drink and canoli, I didn't have the canoli but my friends said it was amazing and the hot chocolate was devine, this was a really sweet place and a lovely way to finish off the tour before heading back to Manhattan. On the drive back they played lots of Christmas videos that were great to watch and once we arrived back at our starting point Paula and her friend were happy to give people directions to wherever they needed to get to. I would encourage anyone who wants to do something a bit different or who loves Christmas to do this tour, I would never see something this amazing at home and if I ever return to NY during the Christmas season again this is something that will definately be on my 'to do' list again.

Tony was excellent. Extremely passionate and loved his city, wealth of knowlegde, very funny, perfect length for tour, never bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I promise, after the first pizza stop, I had received my $75 worth but much more was to come. My ONLY suggestion ( and this may not be possible), try to space pizza stops farther apart because i was still full from 1st stop

Amazing food and tour of Brooklyn

This tour was fabulous! Tony (our tour guide) was so knowledgeable and personable. We went to 2 pizza places over the span of about 5 hours and the pizza was the best I've ever had. We stopped at several different scenic places and got off the bus to take pictures and walk around. We saw amazing views of the Brooklyn bridge and the different areas of Brooklyn. We also visited Coney Island. There are plenty of opportunities for restroom breaks (which I always get nervous about) so don't worry about that. My boyfriend and I went with two other couples and we all loved it. Highly recommended!! Oh, you will also get great views of the city, so you'll have some nice photo opportunities. Have fun :)

The tour was fantastic, definitely gets you in the Christmas spirit! Paula, our tour guide, made the trip really enjoyable. Perfect personality to entertain and inform over a three and a half hour tour. The lights were incredible, our kids loved it! And the canoli, wow, amazing! Definitely recommend this tour, well worth it, especially if you have children!

I had read about the Xmas outdoor decorations in Brooklyn, but had never seen them before. What a treat! They ranged from elegant and beautiful to a bit chintzy but lots of fun. The guide was lively and enthusiastic. Topping the evening off with cannoli and cappuccino at the Mona Lisa was a great idea.

My husband and I participated in the Christmas Lights and Cannoli tour. We highly recommend this tour. The tour ran on time and everything was very well organized. Our tour leader's name was Paula and she was exceptional. The houses in the area we looked at were extravagantly decked out and we got lots of great pictures. The cannoli was awesome too; kudos to the restaurant that provided it (I believe it's called Mona Lisa). Thanks again!

What a fantastic tour with a fantastic tour guide Paula!!! She was a true Brooklynite! Very engaging, knowledgeable and so very helpful, she even went out of her way to find a bar my friend and I knew the name of but had no idea of the location. The tour itself was not only FUN but very very tasty, the pizzas we were provided were second to none. Can't wait to take some of the other tours by this group when I am in NYC next.

My wife and I had a great time! Our guide was very enthusiastic and a Brooklyn local. Her stories were entertaining and the movie snippets matched up with locations we were driving through were really cool! But most importantly the pizza was some of the nicest pizza I've ever had and I'd consider myself a bit of a pizza connoisseur. I highly recommend this tour and company in general.

Great Brooklyn Tour!!!

Paula was our tour guide. She was great - funny, full of enthusiasm, and entertaining. We got to bypass the lines at Grimaldi's and go right inside to sit down, be served, and eat our pizza, so that was a great bonus. It was fun going through the Brooklyn areas that were filmed in the movies, as Paula was explaining where this or that scene was filmed as she showed it on the monitor. I'm sure I will take this tour again and I also want to take their Christmas Lights (next year?) and the Cannoli tour.

Best tour of my trip

This tour was better than I even imagined it would be. I highly recommend it especially to do something out of the Normal tourist things. I learned a lot and it was so much fun. As you see sights all over Brooklyn, they play movie clips at the same time so you feel like you are in the movie. The pizza was incredible too and Our tour guide Paula was fabulous. She made the experience even better.

Celebrating Dad's 70th Birthday
Sun, Nov 20, 11   11:00 AM psalese Female 40-49 Local Family With Children
We booked this trip to celebrate my Dad's 70th birthday. Our group included Dad, Mom, my brother, his wife, their 2 kids (age 11 & 9) and my husband and me. Our guide, Tony made sure the entire tour was engaged and entertained. Everyone felt special that day, especially my Dad. We saw a side of Brooklyn we never knew, and had a fabulous time. We couldn't have asked for a better tour!

Fun and Not Typical

I was excited to visit Brooklyn but I didn't know much about it. I am also a pizza fanatic so the combination seemed perfect. I thought most of the tour would concentrate on pizza, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn a lot about Brooklyn and the area. Was a great thing to do outside of NYC but within the NYC area. Would definitely suggest to others and visit Brooklyn again because of it.
