A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

Highly recommend this to anyone interested in seeing Brooklyn and being lead by Brooklyn native. The pizza that we had a long the way was outstanding, and even got to try some spumoni at one of the stops. Tony, our guide was enthusiastic, funny and a real pleasure to have as our host. We saw fantastic views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges. And great fun sites in Brooklyn. My only complaint, some friend's of Tony were on the tour, and they were annoying with their know-it-all personalities. While it's no fault of the tour, I would recommend that in the future friends of the tour/guide are sort of reeled in and told to be seen and not heard. Overall, highly recommend this informative and entertaining tour.

This tour was wonderful! My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Tony. His Brooklyn accent and demeanor made the tour not only humorous but totally enjoyable. The pizza and history behind each restaurant is wonderful. The tour bus is first class, large windows for viewing, comfy seats, restroom on board, etc. This tour was such a great change of pace from the hassle of trying to catch a cab, change trains, subways, etc. Everything is taken care of for you as far as getting the pizza. We loved every minute of the tour from the time we stepped on to the bus through all of the commentary, history, film clip viewings, pizza eating and the walk on the boardwalk at Coney Island. You can tell a lot of time and thought was put in to planning this tour - IT'S WONDERFUL - do it!

The tour was a fantastic guide to Brooklyn, hosted by a local. It was entertaining, funny, informative and fantastic value for money. The pizza's were great.

On a recent trip to New York I went on this trip with my sister. It is a very interesting and enjoyable trip. The tour guide is a young girl from Brooklyn, she is bubbly, full of information, full of chat and full of personality. We visted two different Pizza restaurants and tasted two very differnt types of pizza. You learn the history of Brooklyn, see where the wealthy and not so wealthy live. I would strongly recommend this tour and see it as value for money.

While checking out things to do in New York during our September 2011 visit we came across the Slice of Brooklyn pizza tour. We live in Calgary Canada and booked it on line. After getting onto a luxurious bus, Paula, our tour guide took over. She really knows her stuff and was incredibly entertaining as she introduced us to the many aspects of Brooklyn's history and neighbourhoods. There are two pizza stops and the thin crust pie at Grimaldi's was our favourite. The day was a real experience and we ended up at Coney Island - a treat to see after hearing so much about it. The tour lasted over four and a half hours and Paula's non-stop commentary and personal knowledge of Brooklyn made it one of the most memorable days.

this is the 4th tour we have taken with tony and Paula ( 3 pizza and one christmas lights)--why do we come back so often--the tour is great-- paula is fantastic and we learn something new every time. We will probably go again--there is nothing like this tour anywhere( we went on pizza tour in chicago and not as entertaining or as good as a slice of Pizza) i would highly recommend this tour-so enjoyable!!

The tour was awesome. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and conveyed a lot of information about Brooklyn. The pizza was great at both stops.

I would have liked to spend more time on the Coney Island stop, and instead of 2 pizza places perhaps there could have been one and a hot dog or knish at the Coney Island stop. In addition, Sheepshead Bay could have been a stop as it's so part of Brooklyn.

Had a very good time on the pizza tour Grimaldi's is the BEST!! Love it, love it. I recommend this tour to everyone!

We LOVED this tour, We were met by Paula and from the second we stepped on the bus we knew we were in for a real treat. Our friends went on the tour in 2010 and were taken around my Tony and they loved him, we had Paula and were equally as impressed. Paula made us feel so welcome, she knew SOOOOO much about Brooklyn, and she made the whole tour really interesting and enjoyable. The info she gave us on the tour gave us such an insIght into Brooklyn. The pizza at Grimaldi's and LB's was deliscious. Paula made sure that we were well looked after in both and even though it was raining on the day of the tour Paula was on hand with big umbrealla's to help us get photo's at the Brooklyn Bridge and Coney Island. The tour is great value for money and if you want to see Broklyn and eat some really tasty pizza and have a great time - GO ON THIS TOUR!!!. We will be back to do another tour next time we are in New York. Well done Paula, you really were a highlight on our holiday. You are mentioned when we are talking about the holiday to family and friends as often as we talk about the shows, Top Of The Rock and Central Park, you really were amazing!

The tour guide was GREAT! She made the trip a lot of fun and I will tell all my friends that they must take this tour, even if they are New Yorkers. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We had horrible weather and it was still great!

We set off on a wet gloomy morning but no sooner were we on the bus and away then any thoughts of a gloomy day were well and truly gone. Paula our guide was great, the pizza was delicious and we would seriously consider basing ourselves in Brooklyn on a return trip to NY. All in all the best tour we have done!

Slice of Brooklyn was recommended by a friend. We just never do tours... Too independent for that. Well , were we glad we went. Paula the guide was a solid 10...as was the tour.

Paula, our tour guide, was really fun and full of facts about Brooklyn . We had a great time and loved all the places we went on the tour. What a fun way to learn about Brooklyn.
