Wow, ok, where do I start. After travelling from Sydney to New york for the first time, I knew I wanted to see parts of it that I wouldn't otherwise travel to on my own. The tour I went on was great, from the second our WONDERFUL guide Paula stepped off bus with a huge smile and an enthusiastic " You guys lookin for a lift to Brooklyn?!" I knew we were all in for a great day. Being a tourist and being able to not only see the city from the other side of the bridge whilst being told all about the areas we are in, seeing sights from famous movies and then getting to skip lines ( something thats rare in New York!) for wonderful, world famous food, getting to meet people from all walks of life, in a warm safe environment, whilst seeing parts of the world that I otherwise never would've seen, couldn't of made my trip abroad more enjoyable. A definite highlight and something I will never forget =) Thanks guys! Dave Lang, Sydney - Aus xx

Great Way to See More of NYC Than Just Manhattan

Very informative and pleasant journey through the neighborhoods of Brooklyn with the added bonus of some great pizza at famed local establishments and a chance to see parts of the city that one might not otherwise venture into without an informed guide. Our guide was Paula, a young Brooklyn native who was enthusiastic, informative and went the extra mile to make the trip enjoyable. Seeing Coney Island and the pizza alone were worth the trip We were shuttled about Brooklyn in a small comfortable Mercedes bus and Paula provided local color and history. The bus was most comfortable and since it held only about 15 passengers, the experience was more intimate. Pickup and end of the tour was Union Square in Manhattan which is very easy to get to by subway. Definitely an afternoon well spent and at a reasonable price. I am thinking of doing their Brooklyn Christmas tour too in December.

First, thank you for being a family owned and operated business. Obviously your doing it right to have made it through the recession, congrats to you and your family and team! We were very excited about this tour because we own a take-out delivery pizza business in Ocean City Maryland, and we like all pizza! I had the unfortunate experience to ride in a filthy stinking cab, yuck! One thing I can tell you is the bus is clean and very nice and Paula is a great, enthusiastic, entertaining, "real" tour guide that knows the city and is a local. Both pizza places were awesome, we enjoyed both pies tremendously. Brooklyn is a great place, I will return to walk the streets of Little Odessa and visit the M & I Market. I did notice that Brooklyn is cleaner than Manhatten, even East and Mid Town Manhatten streets were riddled with debris. Good luck to you and your business for many many years of success and offering a wonderful Brooklyn experience.

Great Tour for New Yorkers and Tourists

We were a group of 13; some from the NYC area and others from out of town, I was in charge of organizing an activitiy for this group as we were all going to be in Manhattan for a conference. After much internet research to find somthing a little different; I picked "A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour". I was extremely happy with my selection and the other ladies (along with my 13 year old son) had nothing but positive things to say. Our guide was full of facts but brought the perfect amount of humor to a 4 hour tour. The stops along the way broke things up nicely. I have to mention the PIZZA....it was excellent; they very different from each other but in a really good way. I recommend this tour to people of all ages! Go on it, have fun, and don't eat before you go!

This tour was recommended by someone who hadn't yet gone on the tour. I think that my young son said it best when he asked how much it cost and couldn't believe it was only $75 each. Paula, our guide was fantastic. The perfect blend of humor and knowledge. The weather was horrible and she made the best of a very tough situation. We recommended it to our hotel concierge as well.

I truly enjoyed the brooklyn pizza tour, its my second time around. I went in Nov 09 and loved the tour. Since we decided to come back to Nyc I had to have my other friends experience this tour. Tony and Paula are amazing tour guides, they bring so much knowledge to this tour. I'll probably take it again when I come back to Ny. This is a tour every tourist should take, you will enjoy it. Tony and Paula I'm glad things are going so well with your tours, continue much success. LA girls love Nyc :)

I did this tour with my family who came up to visit from upstate NY. Even though I've been living in Brooklyn for the past 2 years, I had a great time on this tour! It was the perfect way to spend the day with my family, and we all loved it!

We did this trip with another couple and had so much fun! Paula, was a fabulous guide. She was very knowledgable about the Brooklyn neighborhoods , history , people, and pizza!. She was so friendly and fun and had great insiders stories and folk lore. By our first stop we had made friends with most of the people on the bus and had a great time. I'd do this trip again with our out of town visitors. Maria S., NJ

It was so great to finally get to Grimaldis. PAula was a ton of fun and provided so many fun and interesting facts about Brooklyn.. The other pizza place- L&P Spumoni Garden- I think is the name- had awesome sicilian pizza. We had a blast and have already recommended it to a few more people-
