A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

I'd recommend this tour, although, I thought it was a bit expensive. The guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Brooklyn history. The pizza was great, and the Brooklyn video clips shown on the bus were very entertaining. The bus was nice and clean, too.

The lights and the guide were both interesting-snow didn't help the experience though.

Even though I've lived in NYC 35 years, I've never seen Dyker Heights at Christmas. Great tour and guide. Definitely a holiday must for locals and visitors alike. See if before the lights come down January 6.

Originally I booked this tour because it was winter and I had a desire to see Brooklyn. I had also read that it was the place to go for the "best pies". OMG, my boyfriend & I were so entertained and the food was delish! Paula didn't miss a beat. She was our tour guide our historian. A master and obviously loves Brooklyn! I didn't realize how many movies where filmed in Brooklyn. As we drove in the same places where they had filmed a scene of a movie, we relived it! It was so cool. It was not a cheesy tour as some can be. I highly recommend this tour for locals and those coming into New York / Brooklyn area. Paula you were great! Even when you discovered you lost your wallet that morning before the tour, you still gave it your all, you didn't miss a beat. Very impressive, your knowledge and compassion for Brooklyn made me fall in love with Brooklyn. We are really looking forward to visiting Brooklyn next time around! My brother and sister and i went in on this as a gift for my parents and my cousins did the same for their parents. We all got a little nervous when it began to snow, but when our parents returned they were raving about how much fun it was, how great it was, and how they can not wait to go on another. My father had rave reviews about his guide he didnt remember her name, but said she was a young girl who really made the tour shine, and were extremely grateful they had her. All in all they said they had a terrific time, and would definately recomend it to others.

Loved it - so informative and loved the pizza

Would highly recommend this tour. Combines two great pizza stops (thin crust and Sicilian) along with a tour of Brooklyn and a couple of other stops. At first, we were a little surprised that there were only two pizza stops, but it was just the right amount of food and spaced out to really enjoy the entire 4.5 hours. Never a dull moment on the tour and our guide (Paula) did an amazing job. She is definitely a native Brooklyn-ite, but doesn't go over the top. She mixed history and her personal stories....very entertaining!! High point for me was seeing the house that was used in Goodfellas when Joe Pesci got whacked.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the tour director. The choice of places to see was excellent, timing was excellent - never felt like we were being rushed or that we were wasting time waiting, information provided was interesting and presented in a light-hearted manner. And the cannoli and hot chocolate at the end hit the spot. Thinking about taking the tour again next year.

All of our group (ages 12 to 75) had a wonderful time. The Christmas lights were beautiful - it was like Disneyworld in Brooklyn, NY.. Behind the lights were magnificent mansions I never thought existed in Brooklyn. The finishing touch was a Cannoli - the best I have ever tasted & beautiful views of the NY skyline on the ride back to Manhattan.

A lot of fun, driver and tour guide were awesome. Well worth the money. Highly recommended

It was a very nice experience to walk around Brooklyn and see the magic of the lights they use to install there. We're European and had never seen something like that! Don't miss it.

I found this tour online and decided to give it a try with my family, not really expecting too much, but a way to kill a night in NY. What ended up happening was the most enjoyable night of our 5-night trip to NY, and that includes seeing several Broadway shows. The tour was extremely enjoyable!! A mix between the cold outside air on the walking parts and the warm bus made this a must see for all!! The tour giude was extremely knowledgeable and the bus driver was great at all the tight turns. The houses we saw were amazing and must haves for your photo collection. A bargin for the price!!

We liked everything about the trip. While driving to brooklyn the guide provided us with lots of background information on brooklyn, new Jersey and The houses we passed. The walking tour to The decorated houses is fun and you get enough time to take pictures. The cannoli afterwards is amazing, even for first timer:) and a nice ending for The trip. We loved our guide

The Tour Guide was informative and a nice guy. Great stories. The lights were unbelievable. Everyone should do this tour once. We're locals but it was so much easier to be guided and not bother with traffic and subways and guessing where the best lights would be. We covered several neighborhoods which we'd never be able to do on our own in one evening. The canolli shop was awesome. Right outta Saturday Night Fever. Big smiles coming out of the Tour.

Enjoyed the lights but especially appreciated the guide's enthusiasm and information as we went....he certainly made the tour.
