Extraordinary

It was an outstanding tour. Tony our guide was informed, enthusiastic, full of energy, an allover fantastic guide. A Brooklynite to the core, he exuded love of the borough. Coming originally from The Bronx, I saw Brooklyn in an entirely diferent light at the end of the tour. I definitely will recommend it to others. it was a perfect day, foodwise, guidewise and weatherwise.

Great, but one more would be better....

We thought there would be more pizza. Apparently one of the places was burned and temporarily out of business, but something might have been substituted... I would recommend that a local, quickie map be provided of Brooklyn that is in sync with the points of interest. Since different tour guides (we had Paula, a kick) have different points of interest there would be extra, but that's okay -- it would be a good reason for folks to take the tour again. We really did enjoy it -- well done and good luck getting into your house in Bay Ridge, Paula.

It's not just about the pizza!

I saw this tour on 'Getaway' and assumed we would only be seeing the inside of 2 pizza shops. What an understatement! I loved driving through Brooklyn and seeing where many movies were filmed. Through the eyes of Paula, our guide, we saw the Brooklyn that she grew up in and loved. It is fabulous to see a family working together to share the good and bad of their beloved neighbourhood. I look forward to my next trip to New York and another Slice Of Brooklyn experience.

Slice of Brooklyn was a great way to see Brooklyn
Fri, Sep 25, 09   11:00 AM johndrake Male 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza tour was a great way to see and learn about Brooklyn, while getting a chance to eat some excellent pizza with people from around the world. Our tour guide, Paula, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She brought a great local perspective, and shared many interesting stories about her family, and the history of Brooklyn. All the logistics of the tour were outstanding. Bus arrived on time, and we actually started the tour 10 minutes early. Tables were waiting for us at the pizza parlors, and we were in and out, with a sit-down pizza in 30 minutes. Paula was very attentive to the group, whether it was maintaining temperature control on the bus, or taking pictures with the Brooklyn Bridge in the background. We met folks from Australia, Finland and California on the tour, and the stops gave everyone a great chance to get to know one another.

You Feel Like You Are Part of The Family!

Paula did a great job of making you feel like you are part of her family. You really felt what it is like to live and grow up in Brooklyn. You feel like a star when the bus pulls up to a pizza place with a line down the block and you get to go right in! I would recommend this tour to anyone - pizza lover or not. The great pizza is just a bonus to everything else you get to learn and see.

BEST ACTIVITY OF OUR NYC TRIP
Sun, Sep 20, 09   11:00 AM KDTHAMES Female 50-59 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
FOUND THE PIZZA TOUR ON A GOOGLE SEARCH OF THINGS TO DO IN NYC. IT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR 4 DAY TRIP!! THE BUS WAS PRISTINE WITH LARGE WINDOWS FOR FULL VIEWING. PAULA WAS OUR TOUR GUIDE AND SHE WAS TERRIFIC. THERE IS NO DOUBT SHE KNOWS AND LOVES HER HOME TOWN OF BROOKLYN! COORDINATING FAMOUS MOVIE SCENES ON THE BUS MOVIE SCREEN AS IGOR DROVE US THROUGH THE ACTUAL STREET OF BROOKLYN WAS SO COOL. ALSO, I NEVER KNEW HOW MANY FAMOUS PEOPLE WERE BORN IN BROOKLYN. BUT THE PIZZA........OMG. IT WAS TO DIE FOR!! THICK OR THIN. IT DOES NOT MATTER. ABSOLUTELY DELISH! WE WERE SO STUFFED WE DID NOT HAVE DINNER UNTIL 10 PM THAT NIGHT. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE PIZZA TOUR NEXT TIME YOU GO TO NYC. KAREN DILORENZO-THAMES

I would recommend this to all people, old and young. Tony gave a great overview of Brooklyn and the pizza was fantastic along the way. I spent 9 nights in New York but was so glad to venture out of Manhattan and see more of the boroughs. Brooklyn is beautiful and we saw so much on this tour.

This was a terrific tour with just the right amount of stops, food (it was a Pizza tour afterall), timing, and of course Tony was fantastic. It was for this group of world travelers the best guided tour we have ever been on. Recommended without any reservations.

My girlfriend and I went on the Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour in September and had a great time. The Pizza was fantastic and there was plenty of it. The tour is really laid back and fun, our tour guide was young and really friendly which made the tour all the more enjoyable. They give you plenty of local history and show you lots of famous movie shoot locations. I would defintely recommend the tour.

Our tour guide, Paula, was fantastic! It was great to hear her stories and history of Brooklyn. I learnt and saw a lot more of Brooklyn, which is bigger than I thought, in 4 hours than I could have done by myself, and I got to eat pizza! I would highly recommend this tour!

the three of us had such an amazing time on the Slice of Brooklyn tour. As incredible as the sites that we saw, and the pizza that we tasted, it was actually bested by the fact that we had such an incredible and entertaining tour leader. Paula was enthusiastic, energetic, humorous, and incredibly knowledgeable about all the aspects of the tour. I recommend her and the company to any and all!! looking forward to our next tour with them!

Paula was a breath of fresh air. We got to see some good areas of Brooklyn and the pizza at Grimaldis was to die for, the best I have ever had. The stop under the Brooklyn Bridge was very interesting and entertaining. I can not say enough about Paula and the way she presented Brooklyn to the group.
