Activity Description
Music for Families consists of three concerts targeted to young children between the ages of 2 and 12 and their families. This series is an important aspect of our Early Childhood Music division and the Music Adventures program, a music and movement literacy program that introduces and develops specific aspects of the music language in an engaging and joyful manner (similar to the way Sesame Street introduces and develops the English language!).

All performances are at the Brooklyn Conservatory Concert Hall.
Examples of programming include the the premier of the Adventures of the MusiKids, a new work that introduces the jazz idiom and the instruments that comprise the Jazzsound, written by Earl McIntyre, the Conservatory's Director of Jazz; Tales and Scales; Women of the Calabash, and Hayes Green field.
