All of the musicians in the group were outstanding. The show was exciting from beginning to end. It would have been nice if there had been some verbal interaction with the audience, such as the name of the song etc. Also, the room was way too hot. |

great music, great price, 1 hour is perfect. would have liked to hear the names of the songs --- a minor quibble. nice intro from staff - short and sweet. I'll come back. Last time I attended concert was mark murphy and sheila jordan - amazing that those two talents are underrecognized.... |

performance was spectacular - and also somewhat historic. Taj Mahal and Gravity have performed only once together since their highly regarded 1971 recording together. Knowing a number of the musicians personally, it was nice to see how they had evolved over the intervening 36 + years.
Zerve made it absolutely painless to purchase the tickets without the all too familiar exorbitant "service charge". |

I've been to a lot of concerts in New York City, and this one was one of the best I've ever seen! The Brooklyn Museum is a great live music venue in NYC, and the Brooklyn Queens Conservatory did a wonderful job hosting the concert and everything was well organized. Taj Mahal was extremely charming and charismatic, and I saw many people dancing in their seats. Great combination of blues, soul, reggae, and I especially loved the banjo! The full band was impressive and the acoustics of the concert hall astounding. For the price, I'd say any BQCM concert is definitely one of the best things to do in NYC, Brooklyn, or Queens. The ticketing process with Zerve was also really easy and convenient and saved me a lot of hassle - they even let different members of my group come in separately! I would not hesitate to attend any concert of theirs again, and look forward to the next one. |

As a 23 year old that is newly living in New York, I thought this event was wonderful. I consider myself as having a well rounded taste in music, and this event opened me up more to the Blues. Having never really heard of Taj Mahal, this event was a great introduction to blues, and especially his type of hybrid blues. |
