Great tour and guide. Very Glad we included sun studio

Tour guide did an excellent job of mixing facts with humor. Highly entertaining with good information. Sun Studio's add on was also very good.

I can't recomend this tour enough for those that want a tour of what Memphis is really about both historically and now. Get beyond Beale Street and get on the Mojo bus. Our guide LOVES MEMPHIS. He was very passionate and enthusiastic about all the things that make Memphis great: Stax Records, Sun Studios, Beale St., the Civil Rights Museum and all the people and landmarks that made Memphis history. Our guide at Sun Studios was excellent in her knowledge of and passion for the music and individuals that make Sun Studio a world famous place to record. Both of our guides were also a lot of fun and we got good music and lots of funny stories to boot.

Awesome mix of music, comedy and information from the soul of the city to the rock of the ages.

We liked Brad the tour guide/singer. He was fun. We loved hearing historical facts about Rhythm and Blues. Now we have to get the back round on Woolly Boolly!! Sun Studios was so interesting....We did not realize that it is still a functioning recording studio. We drove passed Booker T. Washington High School. It was of particular interest to us because an African-American friend of ours attended high school there MANY years ago before integration. Brad did not comment on it, but that is probably ok because the rest of the people on the tour probably had no idea what is was other than a school...BUT...Booker T. and the MG's attended there as well...That is where they got their name. Area # 2 above is inadequate...We are an old couple...celebrating our 45th anniversary. We are old enough to remember most of the info,,,but not so old as to forget it!!! OMG...The bus is an old dump....Kind of adds to the flavor of a great trip! Thanks for a great trip!

The individual conducting the tour was geat, had the right personality to do this type of work. I do feel we rode around a lot without seeing items of interest. Long tour for no more than we saw. Sun Studio was great, interesting where Johnny Cash and Elvis Pressley had lived in the past, Peabody hotel interesing but that is all that was of interest on the tour. Must be something else to see.

I learned so much about Memphis and how instrumental it was for the early recordings of the 50's and 60's. The tour is a MUST for music fans of that era. My favorite moment at Sun Studio was standing in the very spot where Elvis recorded, holding the very same microphone that he used. Wow! What an eerie feeling.

We took the extended tour. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed it and loved our tour guide. She has a wonderful voice and sang great songs as we toured. She really knows the history of Memphis and the history of the music. It is really a great tour and I highly recommend it. It was just the right amount of time and I learned things I never knew about the City and the music.

We took the extended Mojo Tour with another couple and were delighted that we did. The tour kicked off with the Sun Studio tour which was first class and hosted by an extremely passionate and knowledgeable venue tour guide who answered all our questions and added so much to what would have been merely an interesting tour if we were left to read the information in the various displays on our own. However, wiith his enlightening commentary it was great fun, and an educational and fascinating experience. The tour continued by bus and was absolutely fabulous thanks to our very talented and knowledgable tour guide, Kathryn. She has a beauitul voice which she demonstrated regularly along the way by filling in her running commentary with songs made famous by Memphis recording artists. She has a wonderful personality which shone through in the stories and tidbits of information she shared with us along the tour route. I suspect, as did other members of our group, that Kathryn has many more stories of interest than could be shared in so short a time and we would guess that each tour is a bit different and tailored to the response of the tour members. So much of a tour is dependent on the tour guide and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have had the pleasure of Kathryn's company for the tour. The bus was comfortably air conditioned and the tour lasted about three hours. We were sorry to see it end and would recommend the tour to everyone who has an interest in getting a great immersion into the people, places, music and events that made Memphis the stellar attraction it is.

Great Sun Studio Tour- great hostess there- very interesting Story of soul and Rock and Roll with accompaniment was the highlight of the tour. Gary was knowledgeable, fun and very talented. Very safe Driver. Host at ticket booth was very helpful- extremely nice. great city tour No disappointments at all.
