Our group of two sisters and a cousin enjoy music, laughing, and other people, so the extended MoJo tour was a fit for us. The quirkiness of the guide was part of the draw, though her name-dropping got a bit far fetched and questionable. But we were in Memphis and we were on vacation, so no big deal! |

The extended tour was well worth the cost. Our tour guide was awesome, and gave so much information about the music scene of Memphis. Nancy Apple was our guide and was an amazing singer also. The Sun Studio tour was wonderful also. I am bringing my children on this tour next summer!!! |

Our tour guide Brandon Cunning is a gifted singer/musician with deep knowledge of the history and music of the area. Plus, he is funny and charming and really seemed to enjoy the job. |

Great Way to Spend an Afternoon!

Our family took the Big Mojo Tour which included an hour at Sun Studio. We had the pleasure of listening to Kathryn sing and play the guitar as she told us about the history of Memphis. The air conditioned bus along with her sense of humor made this a great way to spend a VERY hot afternoon.
So, yes, I would recommend this tour. However, the REAL reason I'd so HIGHLY recommend this tour is their honesty. Just a few minutes after we got off the tour bus my wife discovered her IPhone was not in her purse. I felt sure it had fallen on the floor of the bus. We hurried back to where the tour had ended, but the bus was gone. Luckily, Kathryn was still there and made a few phone calls. Very soon, Harold drove the bus back and returned her phone. WHEW!
Thank you Kathryn and Harold for a fun, enjoyable, informative afternoon with a happy ending. We will "sing" your praises anytime we're asked about our trip to Memphis! |
