Graceland Tour

When I booked the tour I was trying to decide if it was really worth paying the extra for but when it stated that they would pick me up from my hotel but after waiting for some time had to call and ask them to come and get us. When we booked online it stated there would be a nostalgic bus with a musician who would perform and tell stories about Elvis when the bus arrived it was a brand new bus not the nostalgic one they advertised and there was no musician. When we asked them about the musician we was simply told they are not doing it anymore for this tour and when we asked why they said it was a new thing not to. When we stated that was one of the reasons we chose to go on the tour instead of just going to Graceland on our own they just simply said sorry. I would like to say that was the only problems we had but it was not. We were told by the driver that he would pick us up where he dropped us off at 1:30 sharp and he did not arrive until after 230 pm. Basically the only thing you are paying the extra money for is transportation.

First of all, the tour was purchased online which advertised music to be played by an individual. When we got there, we found out there was not music because per one employee " we had to cut expenses due to the purchase of the new bus" We recd no notification of the change. Secondly, the bus was 30 minutes late to pick us up due to a music issue on another tour that day. It would have been nice if someone would have dropped us a call to let us know the bus would be late. We could have spent more time in the exibits. Even with those two issues, the driver Kevin was very nice and the trip to and from Graceland was quick. He dropped us off and picked us up right by the entry point to go on the Graceland tour. If they get their act together with proper notificatons of change, they will have a nice set up for tourists.

We throughly enjoyed the tour of Graceland. The bus driver & tour guide were both great. The only down side was that there were alot of groups who arrived at the same time we did so we were in line for 30 or 40 minutes just to get on the shuttle to Graceland. That was not taken into consideration by our tour provider so we felt like we "lost" some time due to that. We missed a few of the exhibits beacuse we had to meet the bus back at a specified time. If we had the extra time we "lost" we would have been able to see everything included in the tour. I understand they are on a schedule but those tours are not cheap and we would have liked to have seen all of the exhibits available. We certainly couldn't afford to take the tour twice or take a taxi back to the downtown area where we were staying to be able to see all exhibits offered and included in the tour price.

Singer was great, but would have enjoyed more. She could have been on bus for return trip.

After entering, tour was extremely well organized with mobile devices providing excellent commentrary.

I was in town on business and not an Elvis fan but you have to see Graceland. Delighted I booked this tour. The driver and entertainment on route excellent, very knowledgable and most important it was fun.

I thought that the tour would have been more guided other then pick-up and drop-off. If I had known that then I would have just drove myself to Graceland and purchased the tickets from them and saved some money. Overall I was pleased with Backbeat tours. The gentleman that was with us to Graceland was awesome. He knew his Elvis history and had a great voice. This was a last minute tour for me and I really didn't do my homework on looking at other ways to visit Graceland. Overall though I was satisfied.

I booked the trip on line from the UK,,arrived and everything was fine....thought the trip out was fantastic enjoyed the entertainment, very informative and enthusiastic information given....enjoyed the trip ...however only two minor grips....our trip was on a saturday afternoon the place was busy...3hrs is not enough time i felt we were rushed and missed one attraction as we couldnt find it....In the foyer we found on our way out site maps telling us where to go...I fell the operatorsof the tour would do well to issue these as passengers get off the bus....an extra houe would be ideal....

We would have liked to add the singing come back from Graceland also. Wanted to take another tour but didn't get a chance with things we were doing and your tour times Thank you
