Not a bad bus ride
Thu, Jul 16  1:00 PM davesiegel Male 60-69 Domestic Tourist(s) Group of Friends
Doing business with Zerve was very easy and quick. The price included the bus ride and admission to Graceland. It was a nice touch that there was entertainment on the way out to Graceland.

a disappointment

Maybe it was because there were only two groups on the bus and only one spoke English, but it would have been cheaper and only marginally less entertaining to have taken a taxi to Graceland. Memphis Jones did his patter and sang songs on the way there (but not on the way back), which we enjoyed, but he does better with a crowd.

Great fun

The best part may have been that we did not have to worry about transportation. The bus picked us up on Beale and Second and took good care of us. We had four girls (ages 7-10) anad they loved the entertainment. The guide was fun and he clearly had a passion for rock & roll. We had plenty of time to see the entire property. I'll just say it must have been an interesting life for Elvis...

The reason I picked Backbeat was because of the entertainment that came along with the tour. I think it was unique and fun and we loved it. Thanks! Deborah Gordon

Thrilled in Memphis

BackBeat tours did a splendid job in providing top notch amusememt, education and enjoyment. From the friendly and talented performers to the 1960 era city bus, Backbeat tours truly delivers a top notch rating. The singers on the bus delivered great Elvis inspired songs and great knowledge of various performers who got their start in Memphis. I truly recommend Backbeat Tours for anyone who want to experience Elvis and Memphis and not to mention Graceland. It was phenomenal. Sincerely, Todd

Graceland Rocks!!!

My mom is a big Elvis fan. This tour was mainly for her. But, I now have a new appreciation for Elvis! The tour was amazing and Backbeat provided a nice background of what to see and do while we were there. We managed to see the mansion (Backbeat suggested that first), the jets, the cars, the wardrobe, the Army years, Hollywood Elvis, and the list goes on and on. It was a great experience. Mom had a great time and I recommend this tour for anyone visiting Memphis.

Not a big Elvis fan but, the tour was fun and very interesting. Those who are real Elvis fans will enjoy the various activities on this tour. All in all it was great fun.

Fun but ...

The Backbeat Bus Tour to Graceland was fun -- a funny musician with good stories -- but it got started late, was shorter than I realized and we were the only 2 people on the bus.

Gracelands was a let down
Sun, May 3  1:00 PM Bobsan Male 60-69 International Tourist(s) Family Without Children
The Gracelands experience was a real let down as we found it solely interested in extracting as many tourist dollars from us as possible and it didn't really honour the king of rock and roll as we felt it should. To be fair, the weather, which was awful on the day and fact that we had to obtain alternative transport back to Memphis as the Backbeat bus was over half an hour late to pick us up did not add to the enjoyment.
