| We absolutely loved this tour! Our tour guide was Memphis Jones and he seemed to genuinely love what he was doing. He was very engaging and informative on the subject of Elvis. My family included a 64 year old down to an 11 year old and we all loved it! I would highly encourage you to take this tour. |

| Memphis Jones is one of the BEST tour guides I have ever experienced anywhere. He is a fabulous singer and knows Elvis's life forwards and backwards. I only wish the Hound Dog Tour included a stop at the Lauderdale Courts to see the inside of the apt. Elvis grew up in, instead of just pointing out the windows where he lived. This would have made the experience complete. I would have been happy to have paid a little more to see it, especially with such a knowledgeable guide with us. The tour of Sun Studios was fabulous also. I am very thankful that I took this tour and will do it again the next time. I am hoping the outdoor amphitheater on the zoo grounds will be complete so we can see firsthand where Elvis first performed before a live audience.

| I took the Hound Dog tour and the entertainment on the bus was phenomenal. I rode on the Miss Clawdy bus and Memphis Jones was an excellent tour guide. I recommend this tour especially to all Elvis fans who will appreciate it more. I learned so much more about Elvis' life that I'll remain a fan for life. I highly recommend Back Beat tours. I am planning to return to Memphis and take the other tours such as the Mojo tour from Back Beat. |

| My daughter, 16, and I took this tour based on a different tour we had taken previously and how much we had enjoyed it.
The upside: There was a great deal of interesting information about Elvis on this tour. Not the least of which is the fact that one can rent out the apartment where the Presley family lived at Lauderdale Courts!! The tour around the city to get a glimpse of places associated With Elvis' life was very interesting. Our bus driver was extremely knowledgeable of Elvis lore and trivia. Also, having taken another tour that included some Elvis info, this tour did not feel like a duplication of that at all. The tour is very upbeat, and it is fun to use the hand-held instruments provided to join in the songs.
The not-so-upside: The songs sung on the tour were mostly very early-Elvis tunes. While these were pertinent, they weren't (for the most part) the most well known. Where were Heartbreak Hotel, Can't Help Falling In Love, All Shook Up, Love Me Tender, Are You Lonesome Tonight, Return to Sender, Crying in the Chapel. We would have loved to hear the background info on the recording of Are you Lonesome Tonight, wherein Elvis starts laughing and can't stop. Also, while we know that Elvis recorded at Sun Studios, the tour there is only partially about Elvis. It's an interesting tour, but would have chosen to leave that part out and learn more about Elvis only, since the tour billing is about him. (The Sun Studios tour time - in all - was 1 hour and 20 minutes of the total 2 hours and 45 minute tour.) Also - and we fully realize this couldn't be helped - the *old* circa 1962 bus we were supposed to tour on was in disrepair. Instead, we toured on a 15 passenger shuttle bus. It wasn't quite the same, as we had the older bus experience on our first tour. |

| We took English friends on this tour and Nora .....the singer and Howard the driver took excellent care of us.............was fun. |

| We had a really great tour, we visited all of elvis's old haunts and saw where he grew up and went to school it was very interesting. The bus was very fun, especially memphis Jones the entertainer he sang elvis songs and gave us lots of information, we even joined in with playing musical instruments on the bus. We would highly reccomend this tour. |

| We had an excellent singer that sang Elvis songs and shared jokes. He had a wonderful attitude and made the experience fun. I enjoyed his cute personality and he was very knowledgable about Elvis and the area. When I go back to Memphis I will tour with this company again.

| We picked this tour because it sounded fun and it really was You get to sing along plus learn a lot of history about Elvis while doing it. Memphis Jones, the tour guide was excellent.We would go again in a minute. |
