| We enjoyed a girls' weekend in Memphis and the Memphis Mojo tour was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. From Jessica at the Backbeat stand on Beale Street to Howard our intrepid driver to Jake Fly, THE MOST AWESOME TOUR GUIDE EVER...everyone was knowledgeable, good-humored, and made sure we had an amazing time! We have traveled to many destinations as a group and always enjoy taking some sort of tour to get a bit of local flavor and history - we all agree that the Backbeat Bus tour was the most fun, unique, and informative tour we've ever taken. I highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in a bus tour of Memphis...we'd love to return to the city just to take another one of Backbeat's tours. Thanks for a great afternoon! |

| I was recommended by the concierge at the Westin on Beale Street. I had a great time...laughed, sung, and learned tons of information. Memphis Jones was awesome...I didn't want to get off! So much fun....I would recommend to anyone of any age. |

| The tour was the highlight of our visit to Memphis. Our tour guide and resident musician Memphis Jones was talented, knowledgeable and very personable and interactive with the tourists. Our driver was also very skillful in navigating us around the city whom our tour guide noted had the worst drivers in the world. I would take the tour again if i return to Memphis. |

| One of, if not, the BEST tour I've ever taken. Memphis Jones was fun, and informative. He really seems to know his stuff. The 1959 bus is a great way to see the city. We will definitely do other tours with Backbeat when we're in Memphis again. |

| Unique concept for a city tour! I loved it. Memphis J high wire act could fail in wrong hands but his are the right ones. Great quitar playing, and he made the Memphis history personal and funny.
If I could suggest any improvement the tour could be a little longer- maybe including Stax studio. My curiosity was piqued I didn't want tour to end yet!
Thanks to Memphis and sponsors for GREAT tour. |

| Great tour, very entertaning and informative. Saw lots of different aspects of the musical history of Memphis, tour guide was great fun well worth it. Will suit all age groups, love the fact that they give you musical instruments to join in with. |

| I signed up for this bus tour on the recommendation of a friend who bought tickets for she and her son. I thought it sounded like fun so I purchased my tickets about a week before my trip to Memphis. I arrived right on time and I was greeted by our friendly host (I have since forgotten his name), and we boarded the bus. There were only about 10 of us on this day, and we all received an instrument of some kind; either an egg shaker, a tambourine, or bongo drums.
The driver began driving and our host started giving us the history of Memphis, of rock and roll, Elvis, and many other people who made their mark in the area. He made it interesting and entertaining, and even though it got corny at times, I thought it was very enjoyable. The whole trip lasted a little over 1 1/2 hours, and I feel it was worth the $60 I paid for my daughter and me. |

| We completely enjoyed the tour. We, being in our 60's remember vividly all those great singers who got there start in Memphis. Remembering listening to their records on the radio, on our 45's or watching them on T.V. You have a wonderful city and we will be sure and tell all of our friends and family to visit you. The tour guide who was a 20 something college student was delightful and funny---we enjoyed his songs even though he was not the best singer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
