This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide, Memphis Jones, showed such a great passion for his city and the music it has produced. As we drove up to the Lorraine Hotel, he was singing "Sitting at the Dock of the Bay." Awe inspiring! I would recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting Memphis. |

This was one of the most enjoyable tour experiences we've ever been on! Our guide, "Memphis" Jones, was outstanding! We'd heard him playing at BB Kings the night before and his knowledge and passion for the Blues came through loud and clear throughout the tour!
We learned so much, and came to appreciate Memphis' place in the history of music. We can hardly wait to go back! If you do nothing else in Memphis, take this tour! |

We took the tour our last day in Memphis; probably best to do this tour first thing as we had already seen most of the stops. But, the music and stories from our guide were great. |

Memphis Jones was the passionate guitar-playing, history spewing, crazy funny, good-smelling musician that accompanied us on our non-traditional bus tour of Memphis. He told us things we would never have known except for his extensive knowledge of local history. He sang, told corny jokes and smelled good, too! We are so glad we chose this for our one tour of Memphis! Bus was AC and comfy, bring your tall beer or margarita, tambourines and settle in for a fun time! |

I only live an hour and a half from Memphis and have spent an unusual amount of time in Memphis, yet had never done this tour. Actually, I thought it would be kind of lame, for somewhat of a local, to spend the time and money. Only after I saw their high rating on Trip Advisor, did I suggest to my wife that we should do the tour and it was the highlight of our recent time on Beale Street.
Memphis Jones was our entertainer/tour guide. He knew the history of the Memphis area and was one of the more gifted entertainers I have seen anywhere ... not to mention, just flat out personable. If you have doubt about doing the Mojo Tour ... go ahead and jump on board ... you should have a blast! |
