Memphis Mojo Tour: the Best of Memphis

The tour was a fun-filled road trip of information and music. It was a wonderful combination. We purchased the available cd and have played it many times! It always brings back good memories of a good Memphis experience!

This was a good tour, but I would have liked if we had visited all the locations that were listed in the advertisement...although we didn't, I would still recommend the tour. The tour guide, Memphis Jones, was hilarious!

We really enjoyed the experience. Our tour guide, Tennessee Tom, was very knowledgeable and a good musician. The concept allowed us to be entertained by local music and learn about the history of the city and it's music. What a great idea!

Memphis Jones and the team took us on a ride thru Memphis and it came alive for us. It was a blast and I'm getting my mom tickets for her birthday celebration!

What a great tour! And what a great young tourguide, who's name i didn't catch but who stole our hearts with fun, facts and so much effort and passion. There is only one downside to this tour, and that is the length. If it took more than one and a half hours, you could get to see a bit more than just a glimpse of the site where Martin Luther King was assinated, and more than a glimpse of the house of Johnny Cash and the Sun Studio. It's the only reason i couldn't give five stars out of five. This tour really should drive on all day. But it's a small thing when you have so much fun. Indeed, the audience ends up to be the backing band of the singing tourguide, which is a great concept. It is a brilliant idea to get people involved, even if it's in such a modest way. Memphis is so full of music, from Elvis to Stax, to hear all of those stories in such a fun environment is just wonderful.

Very fun tour...great way to see the sights and enjoy some music.

On the trip home we decided this was the thing we liked best about our trip...this bus ride! It was very informative and so much fun! We learned a lot of things about Memphis that we never knew. Learned a lot about Elvis, Johnny Cash and others. It was so interesting. The other passengers were older than my group of 4- forty year olds and they weren't too into the fun like my group was, but oh well. We made our own fun!!!! Having the tambourines and bongos available was the bomb! We couldn't stop laughing and smiling the whole time. Our entertainer really worked well off the crowd and was able to quip back with some good comebacks...he was very funny and a great sport. I'd do this again in a heartbeat.

I particularly enjoy the music and the singing of Nancy Apple. Il was really a pleasure to discover Memphis (a very musically oriented city) with a musician. Very interresting!!

Mud Island - $10/person Graceland VIP Tour - $35/person Memphis Mojo Tour - Priceless!! Old or young, the Mojo Tour is worth the price of admission. Let loose and sing along to great music and learn a bunch about a cool city. I was skeptical before booking the tour, but our experience was on par with the other great reviews for these guys!

We loved Memphis Jones and the great tour/performance he gave us. We were doubly pleased when he took us to Graceland. He is a real asset.
