Memphis Mojo Tour: the Best of Memphis

We really enjoyed the Mojo tour. The guide was great - he gave us a lot of information and was engaging and interesting. He sang and played well too (and chose good material)! The tour route took us into areas we would not otherwise have seen, a little outside the more touristy places. Kudos to the driver; he skillfully manipulated a big bus through some narrow streets and tight turns. All in all a great tour. Thank you.

The tour was a blast! It helped me realize the highlights that I've never seen in trips to Memphis and the musician kept everyone involved and excited. My only complaint was the fact that even though I was told the tour was sold-out, I had to eat the cost of one ticket because one person in our group had been injured and unable to attend. I realize there is a no-refund policy but I think there is an exception to every rule. There were two empty seats, could have sold 2 tickets to a couple at the window and I could have received my money back. Overall, the trip was a fun time and enjoyed by our group of eight people. I would recommend to other visitors to take the tour!

Our guide was Stunning Cunning lead singer & guitar player - very talented. Interesting Memphis sights (i.e. where Elvis lived, etc) that we would not have found on our own.

Memphis Jones was a great singer and a lover of what he does. He made me want to move to Memphis!

Our guide talked, sang and played for the entire two hour tour. All the group enjoyed the performance even though some were too young to remember the music.

Backbeat Tours is great. They are very easy to work with and do everything they can to satisfy the customer. The tour I booked was rained out so they gave me three options to choose from. I chose the Mojo Tour and was not disappointed. Even though I have lived in this area for all my life, I still learned a lot about our city from the tour guide. He made the tour fun. He has a lot of musical talent. This is a great tour for anyone--locals or out of town.

This tour was the high light of our four day visit to Memphis. We were able to see much of the city, learned much of its history and so much about the history of the Blues and Rock and Roll. The musician, Memphis Jones, was excellent and made the tour the exceptional one that it was.

We had a great time ( a married couple and our adult- 21 year old son) the tour was interseting and fun at the same time. Memphis Jones was very entertaining and knowlegable abvout the city of Memphis. We would hiighly reccommed.- Chicago IL
