Memphis Mojo Tour: the Best of Memphis

Areallly nice, laid-back tour - the tour guide gave us a lot of interesting details about rock and soul atists and the locations we passed by - he also provided enternainment by singing to his own guitar accompaniment - plus audience participation if you wanted to... all great. Good Value for money too.

A lot of fun and recommend this to everyone at all ages. Very knowledgeable and entertainging. A must in Memphis.

We just returned from Memphis and enjoyed our tour greatly. You meet right on Beale in front of Blues City Cafe. Check in, then across the street to the bus. You might be asked to play a tambourine or shake an egg like plastic thing to make noise. We had a lady guitarist and she was very good mixing history and places of interest along with music. We saw where Elvis like in the projects, where Johnny Cash lived just to name a few things. I don't think you will be disappointed. It is certainly a good way to see outside of downtown and something that is different.

Had a great time with a lively and friendly musician that served as our personal tour guide around Memphis. Saw many great sights and got some great insights about the early days of blues and rock and roll. The 2 hour tour is easy to work in most schedules and well worth the time. One of our highlights when visiting Memphis.

Absolutely amazing tour. By the end, we were wishing it could have lasted all day. Our tour guide was a 20 yr. old scrappy singer that kept the energy up and the history of the city flowing. If you're not sure of where to start your Memphis tour, this is "THE PLACE". I thought I knew a bit about the history of the city, but the insights and stories were fantastic. My sister and I were in town for the weekend and thought this would be a great way to spend a couple hours. The tour guide, Daniel, was funny and knew what he was describing to us. Really get the group involved.

The entertainment was fun and the narration on the tour very informative about Memphis and the music.

Interesting tour through the music streets of Memphis. Our knowledgeagle and musical guide pointed out places of historical interest and then sang a song (accompanying himself on guitar) that epitomized that time period. Since I had had just toured the Rock and Soul Museum, it was really fun to see where the originators of soul music and rock and roll cut their records and played their concerts. thank you, mojo tour!

We did the Memphis Mojo Tour, bus was comfortable not crowded and so much fun. Our guide was very informative about the area and we enjoyed his music. Even though we didn't stop anywhere that we could get off the bus the guide told us enough about each area we were able to decide from his descriptions which places we wanted to go back to on our own to spend more time. - Pam Lavender
