| Loved it...the tour guide guy was great...and love the bus. I do wish that they would add time to tour the Stax Museum just like they do for Sun Studio. |

| We loved Memphis Jones, and his love of Memphis, TN is contagious. We could have spent all day with him ont he tour. I felt like we just scratched the surface. |

| We expected a little bit more music performance during the tour to give it a five star. It was a little bit too much facts to start with but it improved towards the end with the balance between facts and music. The tour could also been extended with maybe 30 minitues to be able to step out of the bus (leg stretcher) and step into the entrance of the Stax museum and Civil rights museum as well as we did at SUN. -Just to promote the local attractions a little bit more.
Unfortunatelly we where only 9 people on the bus (which you can't do anything about) that didn't give that intimate feeling which it could have done if the bus would have been a little bit more crowded.
Anyway guide for the trip and concept is excellent. |

| We had a wonderful time on our tour! the hosts were funny, friendly, informative and talented. I would suggest this tour to others!! It made our Memphis visit a memorable one. |

| elvis opened for slim whitman?? johnny cash lived here?? elvis lived a block away from bb king as school kids?? so many interesting facts on this tour that most memphians aren't aware of.. great job of storytelling combined with timely music.. very fun experience that more locals should enjoy. |

| The Backbeat tour is loads of fun. As advertised, a musician travels on the bus providing great entertainment, with rider participation. Be certain to take the tour that stops at Sun Studios, that tour is awesome.
It is a fun tour on an air conditioned bus. |

| The tour guide was fantastic, and even though the stories were great, I would have him sing more!
The web-site seems mis-leading. It's as if their is an actual tour of Sun Studios, which we found out. Please be explicit to say it's a STOP AT THE GIFT SHOP.
Great tour, I'd do it again. |

| The guys created a good buzz at the start "forming the band" on board (won't spoil the surprise for what that entails!) - great levels of friendly enthusiasm for that early on a Saturday morning.
The tour was brilliant - Alex the guide was very knowledgeable, dug out all sorts of nuggets that you just don't get in the guide books. Accompanied it with relevant songs and really spoke from the heart, not just some bland pre-prepared script.
If you're consdidering this tour, it's probably because you're interested in the music of Memphis. Let yourself be guided by guys who are truly passionate about the music of Memphis! |
