| Different, creative, good host/guide. The only negative detail that made the tour a bit uncomfortable was the extreme cold temperature inside the bus; specially since it was a very cloudy and rainy day.
It would also have helped if the stop at Sun Studio had been a bit longer. The place was so packed with visitors that it was practically impossible to even buy a hot cup of chocolate or walk to the bathroom. |

| This was the piece de resitance of a Medicare Maidens Mempis Madness Tour and it almost was. We boarded the bus and began the tour, and were surprise that the musician had to tell the bus driver where to go. The musician began talking, and talking and talking - pointing out things of interest. After nearly 25 minutes he played his first song.
It was good. He was good, but the music didn't start soon enough. He later explained that he was "short handed" because the tour guide didn't come. So he was having to do the talking tour AND play the keyboard.
He was good at both, but not simultaneously. No one could be. At the very beginning, as we got on the bus,we saw tamborines on the front seat. Finally, for the last 15 minutes of the tour, I reached over and asked the musician if we could play them. It seemed he had forgotton all about us playing along with him.
My group enjoyed this, but it fell short of expectations, because he was understaffed. |

| We read about the Backbeat tour in a hotel brochure and decided to try the Mojo tour.
It was a blast riding on Miss Clawdy while being entertained by the wonderfully informative Memphis Jones. He can sing, he can play guitar, and he can dish out the trivia about the city and its music history. He really knows his stuff! It was especially fun playing in the back-up band with our shakers, tambourines, and mini bongo drums.
We would highly recommend this tour to anybody visiting Memphis for the first time. It's a great way to get the lay of the land while learning interesting tidbits about the musical history and its stars who've made Memphis what it is. |

| I am from here, and my date has lived here for well over a decade ~ but we learned more on this tour about Memphis music history than we'd been exposed to all along. The tour was thoroughly entertaining, enjoyable, educational ... our guide, "Memphis Jones," was very knowledgable about Memphis music history and was able to convey interesting information in an entertaining way.
We are definitely going to take any out-of-towners who visit us on this same tour whenever they come into town. I very enthusiastically recommend this tour as a great way to learn and enjoy oneself doing so!! |

| Memphis Jones is a great musician and loved his singing. He made the tour interesting with his insight into the history of the singers and town. The music enhanced the tour and encouraged audience participation with the musical instruments provided. |

| Everyone in my group absolutely loved the tour. So much history and fun at the same time. It really was as they said, "A 9 hour tour packed into 90 minutes."
If you love music, history, and fun, you MUST take this tour. |

| We loved our tour - mostly because of our very talented and quick-witted
tour guide "Memphis Joe". He is a verbal genius and a fantastic musician! |

| My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. We especially liked learning about all of the different types of music that have their roots in Memphis. The tour guide was very interesting and funny! My seven-year-old daughter really loved playing music along with the tour guide. We got to see many neat sites of Memphis that we would not have been able to find on our own. We highly recommend this tour because it is fun for the whole family. |
